Raziek
Charging Limit All Day
I watched about 6 minutes (until you died).
Things that stand out:
Your reactions seem pretty fake.
Compounded with the above, you say it's a blind run. But fluke your way to the first dungeon and fluke the block puzzles? Seems dubious.
You have a tendency to feel the need to fill empty space with umms and ahhhs. Not every second has to be filled.
On the plus side, your voice is clear and easy to understand.
Problem is, there doesn't seem to be much interesting about your LP. You make some lame jokes about how the graphics are bad, which seem forced given that you're playing an NES game in 2013. Other than that, you're straight up narrating the run.
There was nothing to connect you to us. To be a successful LP'er, you need to connect with your audience, so they have a reason to watch you. Grumps use a duo as their gimmick, as do many LP channels, because being interesting while solo is hard.
I'd recommend you check out BlackLightAttack's Pokemon LPs, as he's a close friend of mine who goes out of his way to connect with his viewers, which is what I was talking about.
Apologies if this comes off as negative, but it was very dry and has a lot of room for improvement. There's potential, though, and I'd start with helping the audience get to know Nabe, so we have a reason to watch. The fact that you chose such a simple game necessitates that, because there's essentially nothing to talk about when it comes to the game itself.
