...... On what grounds? The only reason I don't is because my school doesn't allow facial hair. Must be you then.
Catholic school. (high school)...... On what grounds?
I never saw Captain America, and I'm not sure if I saw the Hulk or not. I probably did, but I don't remember. I can't even remember anything about iron man 2 except for "ahh i'm all veiny"Thor's the only Avengers prequel (because that's what those were), that I really didn't care for. Iron Man was great. Iron Man 2 was pretty good. Captain America was alright. I even liked the Hulk movie with Edward Norton. But Thor just felt like a total mess to me.
[glow]Prequels are all awesome. Avengers is SOO AMAZING. [/glow]I never saw Captain America, and I'm not sure if I saw the Hulk or not. I probably did, but I don't remember. I can't even remember anything about iron man 2 except for "ahh i'm all veiny"
So, with all those movies being prequels, did it build up to an ULTRA AMAZING AVENGERS EXPERIENCE or was Avengers pretty much "just on equal grounds with the prequels"¿
I enjoyed The Avengers quite a bit, and I think watching all of the prequels helped in that regard. It was probably the most enjoyable theatre experience that I've had for any of these movies, though only repeat views will be able to tell me if it beats the Iron Man movies for me.I never saw Captain America, and I'm not sure if I saw the Hulk or not. Thats my order.
Actual spoilers:Circus said:The plot's thin and certain things definitely feel scripted rather than natural, but overall it was a damn good time. Great characters, great dialogue, great action, really funny and well paced. Seeing it at the midnight show was particularly awesome because the theatre was filled with fanboys, so everybody clapped for all of the "applause break" kind of moments that you expect to find in a movie like this. Made it feel more like an event, you know? It's easy to get swept up in that.
I support your avatar.LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
oh man
I think I speak for most people who have seen the film when I say, what other woman?I liked the Avengers...except that Marvel didn't give Hawkeye any air time. I don't think anyone who doesn't know who Hawkeye is has any idea that Hawkeye is, well, Hawkeye. Heck, I don't think any character in the movie says the name "Hawkeye" once. The only back story they gave him was that he apparently saved Black Widow some time ago...but nothing about his origin. Kinda made me sad. :/
Same with Robin. Not once does Nick Fury address Robin as "Robin," so everyone in the audience is left wondering who the girl with the red hair is (the one that isn't named black widow) even after the movie is over.
Nekos everywhereI hate how when people can't make a critical argument they resort to trolling. This is the reason I hate the internet sometimes. Trolling only promotes ****-posting and inflated egos only for the expense of a couple of cheap laughs, it derails any relevant topic and shouldn't be put up with at all.
Not saying this ever happens as far as SWF, but good god [redacted] needs to learn to objectively moderate instead of just letting it happen.
It's even worse when people just go along with just the sake of hopefully enhancing their e-penis some more, which tends to happen often.
sorry about this rant, just had it on my mind and I always feel like I can come back here.
Exactly. Exactly. EXACTLY.I think I speak for most people who have seen the film when I say, what other woman?
Also Hawkeye did a grand total of **** all in that film. Hulkbpoundin, Ironmanbshootin, even some jumped up **** wearing the gayest american suit ever with only a shield as a weapon (srsly, who thought THAT was a good idea?) did more.
Thor electrocuted an entire ****in army, Hulk was all green and up in their face like a backfiring bogey and Iron Man nuked a ***in mothership.
Blackwidow spent half the film running AWAY from the hulk, Hawkeye spent half the film fighting AGAINST the avengers - and the ONLY FIGT BLACK WIDOW WON WAS AGAINST THE USELESS TURD BAG THAT IS HAWKEYE.
Swiss has spoken. Let it be known.
He probably didn't call her Robin because her name is only Robin in How I Met Your Mother.Same with Robin. Not once does Nick Fury address Robin as "Robin," so everyone in the audience is left wondering who the girl with the red hair is (the one that isn't named black widow) even after the movie is over.
Precisely. That scene gave the crowd most of their attention and just cheered in amazement.Actual spoilers:
When you say "applause break," do you mean stuff like the movie kinda going a bit inactive after the Hulk just wrecked Loki's **** right in the middle of his "I'm better than you!" speech? Cause at the midnight premiering that I went to the crowd went ****ing nuts over that.
Are you ESL?That scene gave the crowd most of their attention and just cheered in amazement.
I love Brand New.Soup, if you tell me you're a fan of Brand New, I might lose my ****.
Wow, I was so tired last night, you're right. I got it mixed up, haha. Her name is Maria Hill. FAILLLLLLLL!He probably didn't call her Robin because her name is only Robin in How I Met Your Mother.
Also, there are 6 main heroes in this movie. That's tricky to balance. Someone was bound to get gypped on screen time and back story, and since no one went to see The Avengers just to see Hawkeye, it makes sense that he would be that character. Frankly, I thought we got a decent amount of him, all things considered.
Also, no guys, it's totally cool. Don't use spoiler tags. It's not like the movie just came out and some people still haven't seen it and might not want to know all the twists the movie might take before seeing it.
It's one of the better songs out there, and is actually a reflection of the game in question. A pretty good and thorough critical analysis can be found here: http://www.destructoid.com/final-fantasy-vi-s-dancing-mad-a-critical-analysis-157570.phtmlOverswarm comment on this.
and then I laughed my face offHe probably didn't call her Robin because her name is only Robin in How I Met Your Mother.
