oh lil wayne's a ****** too, but I feel like he's more goofy and drug addled then straight up ********. Gucci's music is alright, I'm not a major fan. Some of his songs are great for parties. But Gucci Mane was locked up in a mental institution, and his lawyers have used the defense that he wasn't mentally competent enough to stand trial. Then he tattoo'd an ice cream cone on his face to show off his "so icy" life style. Like compared to Lil Wayne saying he was a martian, I feel like one is a rapper being high and goofy and the other is an actual insane person who raps.

I've never been a big fan of christmas. I just can't relate to the cause of the celebration and have grown tired of its kitsch, its sentiments and its commercialization. I do enjoy celebrating new year's eve though. The feeling of looking forward and starting things over again at the beginning of a new year is great.

Christmas is very American, so there isn't much of it over here (comparitively). That said, celebrating family is a great cause imo, which is what my family treats it as. We aren't religious so idk the Christian part of it doesn't come into play at all.

I enjoyed Christmas much more when I was in Germany. Advent, Christmas markets, 3 days of Christmas and much more. I felt more feeling in it that commercialism like here in the US.

I do it because I like gifting people. I love making other people happy getting something they want or doing something for them.

This is also why people told me out right to stop Ruying them since I did it too much.

Yeah for me it's not about the not disappointing people, it's seeing them happy and excited. I've had very few things that I've really desired over the past 4-5 years, and I don't really advocate getting anything either. But seeing my lil sis' face when she opened her gifts today was like the best.

The over commercialization is for sure gross. And honestly the holiday comes around too fast for adults/young adults. It would be awesome if it was a once every two year thing. (It would be awesome if WINTER only came once two years). This year my fam and I decided we'd each draw a name and buy a gift/s for that person (with a max/min of $50) along with gifts for my lil sis. So from fam this year I got a coffee mug (which is what I asked for; I drink a lot of coffee and needed a mug that was super airtight spill proof), a Sprouts gift card, a B&N gift card, and some stocking stuffers. Simple and nice.

The other thing that I enjoy about Christmas and some other holidays is that it really is a time to be jolly. People are highly dynamic when it comes to mood. There's rarely a time when every single person is in a good mood. Christmas day is always a day where my fam is synced and happy. Would it be nice if people were like that all the time? Yeah, but they aren't. It's nice to have a day where they are.

Another thing about the gift giving thing is that it provokes people to really think about the people they are getting gifts for. It really causes one to empathize with others that they may not really think about often in an empathetic way. This is why I don't really like rigid Christmas lists other than for children. It's nice to surprise someone with a gift that shows that you really thought about them and the kind of person they are.

In all seriousness, I enjoy Christmas as an excuse to get together with family friends. Oh, and the food. Presents are cool too. Not big on the religious implications and agree that the commercialization of Christmas takes away from the intrinsic value, in a way.

I dunno, I mean, if we didn't have Christmas, I wouldn't have had the chance to mack on all the cute girls that were at my Christmas eve party this year. ;D
