Dude what dafuq else does Nintendo NEED out of this year aside from their blockbusters? Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4 are gonna move more than enough systems that they could kinda lounge for the rest of the year (even though they really ****ing shouldn't). But yea aside from those two games what the **** does Nintendo even look like for the rest of the year? If you haven't bought their already good **** then I understand but like... Yea.

VINYL PILE ON, LET'S ALL HAVE A VINYL PILE ON!

Edit

Oh. And let's all take a moment to acknowledge Mario kart 8's abysmal roster please. That **** needs to be addressed.

Mario Kart 8's roster is meh, but people will seriously just buy the system and the game because it's Mario Kart and by far the best party racing game there is out there. Mario Kart Wii is still doing good in sales and still nets a good buck when purchased. I am already having a couple parties just to Mario Kart and people are pretty pumped for it. College crowd likes it due to nostalgia and it's fun. Kids love it because cartoon racing and parents like it because it stops their kids from killing **** all the time.

I am more so excited I get to dust off my WiiU since Pikmin3 and Wonderful 101. @ #HBC | Gorf #HBC | Gorf is completely correct that Nintendo does not have much coming out persay this year besides rumors and can literally just sit on MK8 and Smash4.

Haven't picked up a Mario Kart game since 64 (which I still play), but I've been paying some attention to this one. Not in any hurry for it, but it may be a bargain purchase down the line.

That roster is out of control though. Does everyone in the mushroom kingdom need a baby version? Was anyone actually clamoring to play as Bowser's kids? smh

I don't understand it. But I don't have to.

I would probably be down with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi if they, insanely, still had mustaches.

Something something the game is still fun as **** something something it's as if local multiplayer just isn't a factor in anyone's head anymore.

Every single new addition ****ing sucks. They took out baby bowser. That is INEXCUSABLE when you have all seven koopa kids taking up 7 valuable slots and ****ing baby daisy and rosalina.

Jerkus also said he digs them. Though for me it's mainly Disintegration. They got a handful of other good albums but they just can't match that one.

I was going to keep this between me and one other person because I know how it went last time, but I'm kinda stuck, and I don't wanna ask the person to do everything for me that I can't, so I'll just make a quick post here and if anyone happens to be interested, they can PM me whenever they have time.

I'm trying to get back into Pokemon hacking, so I thought there wouldn't be a better way to do this than to actually make a small FireRed hack based on a community I've been in for the past few years! When I say small, this is what I mean. The only things I'm really going to change are:

~Wild Pokemon encounters
~Pokemon's stats & movesets (my attempt at balancing some Pokemon) (there will be a patch without these changes as well)
~Adding 4th and 5th gen Pokemon into a 3rd gen game (this will be an attempt, if it doesn't work after I spend a week or two working on it, I'll probably drop this and attempt again later)
~Trainers Pokemon & names
~Increased difficulty (via difficulty patches)
~Removal of trade evolutions
~Physical/Special split if I can get it to work

There are probably some things I'm forgetting, so I'll add them if/when I remember them.

~Your top 10 Pokemon including only Gen 1-5 Pokemon.
~Your top 10 Pokemon including only Gen 1-3 Pokemon.
~Your favorite starter of each type Gen 1-5 (1 fire, 1 grass, 1 water).

After you PM me that, I can PM you about any other information I may need.

Alternatively, if you do not want to be included in this hack at all, please PM me as well. The person working with me and I have created a list of trainers we want to include without any volunteer based stuff, and we'd hate to include people that do not want to be involved at all.

Thanks guys! (:

Disintegration is definitely their best start-to-finish album, in my opinion. Though I haven't actually listened to anything more recent than Wish.

Edit: also Fascination Street is a total jam, but I happen to think the title track on that album is super underrated. It's practically the same riff looped for like 8 minutes but it somehow never gets old.

Fascination Street is definitely one of the album's killer tracks. Not sure why you think the title track is so special in that regard though because it's kind of vintage Cure style to have a riff repeated for the whole song. Same Deep Water as You, Prayers for Rain, Untitled, Fascination Street, Last Dance and Plainsong are all essentially played over one looped riff. And these are just the songs on Disintegration ... there's a whole lot of this type of songs on Seventeen Seconds, Faith and Pornography.

True enough. I only bring it up because on Disintegration specifically I see songs like Fascination Street, Lovesong, Plainsong, Pictures of You, and Lullaby given a lot of love (all well deserved), whereas I never see anyone mention how powerful the title track is. Most of the songs I listed were singles, so I guess it makes sense, but Plainsong gets a lot of love for being a strong opener too, and I would consider Disintegration just as memorable as that song. Indeed, many songs by The Cure, especially on Disintegration, are sort of hypnotic, looping landscapes, but I think the title track is notable for just how damn catchy it is considering that. That riff will pop in my head some days and be stuck there for a good while. I was already familiar with a handful of songs off of Disintegration before I ever gave the full album a listen, and I would consider that track to be one of the most pleasant surprises.

Yes is on tour. I implore every single one of you to go as far as you need to in order to catch a glimpse of this phenomenon

In FE:A the game seems to just absolutely spike in difficulty a bit after Lucina joins. I'm having a hard time dealing with reinforcements let alone just even grinding on paralouges. I've been using a more defensive strategy but a lot of the chapters insist that you act quickly instead of holding back. Any pointers?

So far I've only had 4 characters die and even then I have this feeling like some of the units I still have alive have become so useless to me that it doesn't matter that much to me.

Alright, first thing to point out is that the paralogues that show up after Lucina joins are absolutely NOT intended for grinding. Those are how you recruit the 2nd generation characters, and some of them are extremely difficult. Nah's is one of the hardest, Morgan's is probably the easiest. If you don't know how that works already, whenever a female (who is eligible) hits an S-rank support with someone, the paralogue to recruit the child of that marriage appears. All of the females are eligible except Anna, Tiki, Say'ri and Flavia. Those 4 can only produce Morgan (F) with a Male Avatar. Second generation characters are also allowed to have an S-support, but it does not produce a child unless it is with the Avatar.

As an example, on my last run, I had Chrom marry Olivia, producing Olivia!Lucina. (Parent!Child is the notation commonly used when discussing child characters) I then married Lucina with my avatar, producing Olivia!Lucina!Morgan.

Make sure that when you attempt to recruit a child, you pass down skills correctly. Children inherit the LAST skill in their parents skill list (you can sort from the menu), and this isn't locked in until you actually do and complete the chapter. This includes gender-specific skills, so you can get Galeforce on children who would not otherwise have access to it. (Like Inigo, for example) The exception is Chrom, who always passes Aether to Lucina & his daughters (Cynthia & Kjelle), and Rightful King to his sons (Inigo or Brady).

Your team seems decent enough, other than your Cordelia looking like she was either promoted early or had really bad luck with level-ups. I recommend re-classing Panne to a Wyvern Rider if you have a second seal. If you just need to grind some levels, I'd recommend summoning some of the SpotPass teams to the world map (the green ones) and fighting them to level up a bit if you need to.

If you have further questions on any topic, let me know, and I'll help you out as best I can.

I just bought Kirby: Triple Deluxe and reserved Super Smash Bros for 3DS.

I also watched the Amazing spider-man 2 and saw a blood donation truck after, which made me upset because I could've gotten a movie ticket for free instead of buying it. But hell, this motivates me to work a lot more at my job. I'm saving up for a Wii U after this.
