My working theory is actually that Mashad, being a good couple years older than me and then several more than Glyph, bit me when I was an infant, and then later Glyph as well. My theory also assumes, of course, that Mashad is radioactive.

Thus, we gained the proportional size and strength of a Mashad, but because we are and were smaller than him, we're not as bigmuscly or strong as him.

I see no flaws in this theory at the present moment.
