Where were you?
How old were you?
What were you doing at that moment?
What will you remember most about that day?
How has 9/11 changed your life(it has, trust me)?

And after today, please let this thread die. I made this thread just so that maybe we can reflect on that historic day. We ALL share something on this day....memories. Please share them.

I was 14 years old..
I sat in my room (don't remember what i did at that moment)
My older brother suddenly came running into my room and said:
-Come watch the news! USA is under attack!

Can't really remember more than watching it; I remember it was horrible when people jumped to their death..

can't remember
let's see it was 7 years ago so 17-7=...10!
can't remember
do i need to say it...
it hasn't (no i don't trust you) by the way i live in switzerland so yeah didn't mean the world to me. when i was told about it i was just like "Oh?" nothing more and even now i think that all the fuss made about it was unjustified like it was the world's worst catastrophy we actually did a minute of silence in school for it but no sh*t for all the other millions of people who die. all because it's the USA that was attacked and a few thousands of its people but near nothing for the millions of muslims killed by american soldiers. yeah i'm giving my opinion that nobody cares about but i felt like doing and the fact that some guy post a thread about it in avideo game character forum 7 years after is just stupid and justifies what i've said. i'm hoping for the OP that this just a psychlogical experiment of his and ^that i've just been doing what he was waiting for like an idiot.

I was going home after I was picked up from school
The news channel
It made me see how desperate *******s can get when they're twisted, and that there are sick people in this world. It also showed me that americans can really open their hearts towards others when reparing a country

Good question.
I was 11 at the time (a really impressionable age), and I live on the west coast, so I was on my way to school. I first heard the news on the radio, and then when I got to school, we watched the news for a while. I remember not really being able to connect the fact that the buildings themselves were totally destroyed to the fact that there were actually PEOPLE involved. There was just no concept in my mind of so many people dying all at once. I also remember that all of my teachers were unusually silent, and that worried me quite a bit. I don't really think the actual attacks affected me very much, but the pain it inflicted on other people combined with my own slow realizations have probably made me a more cynical person. It was a humbling experience that really made me realize how fragile our lives and happiness really are, that so much suffering could be accomplished through the actions of just a few people.

I was sixteen (16) at the time, and I was in high school. All day, everyone talked about what had happened.

I was 11, in vancouver...

I went into the classroom and no one was paying any attention to the teacher, and all attention seemed to be fixed on a television set that materialized infront of the blackboard. Then a clip of the planes hitting the towers came on, and our teacher explained that something called "terroists" had "hijacked" two "airliners" and crashed into the "world trade centres".

Nobody knew what was going on, but they knew something bad had happened judging by the appearance of president Bush on the television and by his unimpressive reaction.

I was 18 at the University of Florida. I had just came home from my calc 3 class when my room mate looked more serious than usual. I asked him what's up and he pointed at the TV. I was in shock. I saw the second building fall down and called a bunch of friends from NY. Really surreal day.

Ever since 9/11 I've been "randomly checked" at airports almost every time I fly.

Yeah. Most will understand it as an isolated event and not necessarily the changes it brought. Hopefully with maturity the younger ones will reassess their opinions.

Do people still believe the 9/11? Come on, do you believe people in a cave are able to defeat the USA air security?

Also had you people realized the fact you "could" be arrested if the police "suspect" from you being a terrorist, give you no info about the charges and hold you ALL the time they want whit out even giving you a trial?

The fun fact, 90% of the terrorist are released whit no charges. Only after their faces appear on the news papers.

I was in 6th grade (11/12 years old). It's a pretty vague memory, but I remember all the kids in my class and other nearby classrooms meeting in our room and watching the news on TV as it was happening. I also remember kids making jokes about who was causing all the explosions; the teachers definitely weren't happy about that.

Then, the next day, all us kids came to school talking about who we then thought was responsible (or who we had heard our parents talking about who they thought was responsible, more realistically).

Dude think about it, that incident maked possible the rule of government able to imprison us if they suspect we are terrorist in front of our own eyes. Coincidence, unlikely.

I'd like you to look at this documentary, just look at "Todo el mundo es un ecenario " 1 2 3 and 4 (Don't worry is in English whit Spanish subs).
Also the other parts of the documentary like "La mas grande historia jamas contada" and "No prestes atencion a los hombres detras de la cortina" are very very interesting.
