That's cool Epic. It would be nice if we can play some 3S together. I usually play with my friend Andy since he comes down from MD every Thursday to chill at my house. He ***** me, but I get so much better playing him.

The first one was pretty funny Justin. The second link doesn't work though. Kevin told me that he might come down this Friday. I hope he does because I need practice against more people in Brawl.

That's sounds great gunrunner. Oh and just to let everyone know, the first Melee Circiut event will be held on November 8 if I'm not mistaken. The thread is in the North Atlantic fourm. It's Alukard's No Johns Biweekley in NJ so if you're interested in going, start planning now. Speaking of which, I needs a ride >_>

Well...I checked out a nearby gamespot to try and find 3rd strike for the ps2...they had alpha collection and a couple of kof games (kof...eh...) but no 3rd strike.

As I was about to leave I saw Disgaea: hour of darkness...man...I can't resist games from Atlus. WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD?!?

...anyway, stuff is going down in dover this weekend? I'll keep checking in each day and if I can get time I'll try and head over with someone and chip in for gas. We will have to do 64 smash again along with melee and some 3rd strike (brett I heard that you use Hugo right?)

I feel as though stick is better because of a couple of things.

1. Charge moves- it is a fact that charges are MUCH easier to do on stick than pad because the microswitches are more sensitive thus requiring less input time.

2. It's easier to input certain commands like Chun's Lightning legs, 360's ect.

3. It gives me a more authentic feel to playing 3S. 3S, like most 2d fighters, originated in the holy sanctuary aka the arcade. The best players in the world play on actual cabinets because of the fact that version of the game is the original. When a 2D fighter is ported to a console, things are usually tweaked around to fit the console's requirements.

4. SBO- aka Super Battle Opera is where the highest competition is held uses cabinets in the tournament.

When I first played on stick it was hard to get used to becuase I was a natural pad user. However, as time passed, I got used to it and haven't regret it ever since. I'll never go back to pad lol. In the end, it's just a matter of if you want to compete with the best or not. If you don't use pad, but if you do, get a stick.

I understand. Sticks can be pretty expensive depending on what you're looking for. However, you can just get a really cheap stick then mod it so that it's not actually crappy lol.
