Wise and logical advice.

Immediate, direct, and complete contradiction of said wise advice.

[collapse=Analysis within]After stating that one should not act upon preexisting biases, you:

1. Assume that there will be walls

2. Assume that they will be frivolous

3. Declare that you will be tearing them down

4. Assume that they will merit "tearing down" in the first place.

And all this based on ............ ?[/collapse]

How strange.
Heheh. You know yourself, you can't resist making a wall. This is not bias, rather than fact. What comes of it, we shall see. Consider my statement a declaration of challenge.

that made me realize how boring Death Note would have been if anyone ever disagreed with or rebutted L after he does his thing lol
Debate used to be something i did.

Although I'll admit most of that was rushed by an immediate need to go to work and a good portion of it was more or less a complicated way of saying : If using meta is wrong, why the jab at my hella janky meta(which is funny , but wrong)

But hey, whatcanyoudo.

You're right

a smart reply would have been entertaining :smirk:
that stings.
Although the fact you took the time to respond like this as opposed to a L-themed response is certainly interesting.

When I was new Overswarm was definitely one person I was intimidated about playing with (esp. as scum) but I must say I've actually enjoyed every time I've played with him, or watched from afar (Dragonball Z Mafia springs to mind).

Now Cello on the other hand...

I always hear people mentioning "Cello," but I'm too "new wave" and subsequently too out of the loop to know who that person is and what they stand for. Apparently they were pretty damn good at this game? I wouldn't mind reading an old game here and there if someone had a recommendation for a specific game.

The first time I ever rolled scum, I rolled scum with Cello. Although I think it was actually also before Cello earned his hype, and it was in a game in which mafia had no private communication, so I really had no idea who I was playing with. And I still don't really know how Cello got his reputation because I went all SMASHBOARDS HIATUS shortly after that game ended.

When I came back, he was gone....

And then when I started openly reminiscing about him, everyone began to give sideways glances at each other. They fidgeted awkwardly, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. When I asked why, I was told that I couldn't have actually played a game with the real Cello. Because he had been dead for THIRTY YEA—

I'm making stuff up now. Point is I remember Cello but even I don't actually know why he's such a legend. Although it's worth noting that we did wreck shop in that game we played together.

Don't get mad - get Swiss
Swiss don't know about my persona
No, I understand completely your persona and know why you do it. As Ryker correctly says, it's on in a mafia setting that you transform into this obtuse, stoic and generally incorrect gargantuan. You can actually be somewhat clever in the social thread.

Of course when it comes to mafia you suck balls and need to get good (other generic insults etc)

I was scum with Swiss and Cello in Discworld mafia. We had to bus Cello like Day 1 or Day 2 or something because it's Cello. We then proceeded to absolutely troll the game and won. That's the most telling impression I got from Cello.

FF6 Mafia is probably my best memory of Cello. Good read too :smirk:

Very smart, incredibly arrogant, gets tells off the oddest posts and will lynch people based off the wording of their posts, similar to me in these aspects. But he also spends a lot of time mechanically restricting people as much as he possibly can, like Ryker does.

Weak as scum and refuses to play the game as it.

I remember Cello. Played with him when I was a newb, in Ronike's Inception Mafia. At the time, he was tunneling Rocking for some reason that I still don't understand and prolly should re-read why he had a problem.

He asked me to be friends, just because I realized some of the quotes were like, addressed to a person but the name was different... and then he took it back for I don't know why.

Then in Rusty Guillotine I got paranoid with him lurking and possibly being scum and him claiming scum and bleh.

I bussed him Day 1 in my first game as with him (my second game on SWF) because he and Kevin thought they'd get a ton of points by bussing me and not communicating with me at all to keep the reactions genuine. He continued to play very well in games he did not play with me, but be really ineffective any time we were both in the game.

I remember replacing into that game with town lynching Gheb and then losing.

Kin of like getting hired, showing up to work on the first day, and getting stabbed 37 times.
