Could somebody upload / post a link to their working codeset+CSS file? So I could see if it works on my Wii? A txt file would be a big help, too.

It's loading all of the files properly (or so I think) because the CSS is in the format I made with PW's CSS app, just none of the CSS portraits on the bottom of the screen work, and the player 3 box I have at the top of the screen can't be selected, either. It's bizarre, because that's what the CSS fix code is expressly designed to fix, but it's not working at all on mine. And I really hope it's not 3.5.1 FP, because I like my custom songs, and I'd rather have them than this.

Im using my CSS with the Portrait windows moved and I have V3.5.1 and my songs work.

Ok, so I used MK26's file with my codes and it still didn't work (I was using the old BBrawl Genesis codeset + CSS fix). I turned off the custom stage screen code, and it worked. Switched to my custom character screen file and it kept working. I have no idea why it wasn't working before, since I ALREADY tried that.
...but now my CSP's aren't loading. Are you guys having that problem?

I'm fairly sure that this is related: i have a file "BUFFER" that replaces "HANDICAP" on the CSS, and it didnt work when i had that CSS file active.

Ok, so I did some tests with the codes by using MK26's codes, the BB Genesis codes and the BB current release. When I activate all of the stage select screen modifier codes before activating the CSS fix, I have problems... but if I activate the CSS fix code and THEN the stage select screen codes... the stage select screen codes stop working entirely as if they weren't on at all, just like the CSS fix code was doing originally.
I'm not sure why. I didn't think the order in which I checked boxes in the PC code manager mattered, but I don't know how it's coded; maybe it does. All I know is that whichever one I check first will work, and the other one won't.

I posted this on the guide for getting both css's and csp's to work as well, but I'm going to post it here in case it gets missed there.
I can get to step 7, and then I get stuck. When I attempt to insert the file, it spits out a file called "sc_selcharacter_en.pac.out" and tells me to try again with that file. When I do, it does absolutely nothing. I've tried renaming the .out file to "sc_selcharacter.pac" and going on, and that doesn't work. I've tried renaming it then attempting to insert again, doesn't work. I've tried using both a compressed and uncompressed sc_selcharacter_en.pac, neither works. So I don't know what else to try. Any help?

hmmmm when i got the sc_selcharacter_en.pac.out i delete the original pac that i used before i converted it. then i renamed it to sc_selcharacter.pac and did the ntcompress command and it worked. but its not working with my CSS right now because theres a bug or something with my new CSS but it worked with my previous one. you can try if you want.
Do you mind posting the txt file or source for the edited css?

Woodles, The CSSEntries.txt is a few posts up, this is the gct's txt, and afaik you can open the CSS file in smashbox, save it as an uncompressed file (PAC), and use that. You might need to change the name to sc_selcharacter.pac after you decompress it.

afaik you only need the samus/zss+zelda/sheik fix for zero suit. you'd need the giga and company fix for the indy pokes. i at the top of this page i reposted my txt, which accounts for having both of those codes present. But you dont need the whole B+ package.

that's the css code. you dont need a file patch code for it, and the inclusion of file patch does not interfere with it.

Just been bugging me, but is there any way to get custom CSPs working with this? There's no way I want to reimport all the individual portraits again with BrawlScape.

Yeah, thats been bugging me too, lol. That, and I STILL cant get the ****ed ZSS and company into my CSS... I wonder if he will include an option for a... say... stage selection screen? Get id of Hanenbow and FlatZone 2 >_>

sorry for double post, but is there a way to make certain icons overlap others? i kno where i want to put alloys, but they keep overlapping almost all of the other icons. it really bugs me

Ok I'm really starting to get tired of this. I've been messing on my CSS for hours and still nothing.
I wanted my common5.pac to have custom CSPs/Name ONLY for the Random icon. I don't care about the others. So I changed the textures in Smash Box and saved the file. Good so far. Then, I made my custom CSS, placing the icons randomly because I have no idea which is which since it just says Icon 01, Icon 02, etc. I save the pac, open it with Smash Box then compress it. I remove the "_en" and put it in the Menu2 folder. I then use the CSS Fix code. In game? BEEEEEEEEEP.
Results?

Save it as a pcs and change the name to sc_selcharacter.pac manually.

could you possibly add the alloys in this txt? well if you knew of course. because i would like to try to get alloys working since theres a super alloy psa out there.

the css icons do that automatically. if there is alot of icons they will be smaller. so if you want them big you need to have less icons overall
