The code you have there, super master hand, was defective. it loaded the alloys etc. from ALL of the characters alt. costumes, instead of just zamus. use this code, I reworked it :)

Well you just need to turn that code off, and use all the other codes. Then it will be fine. But anyway. Masterhand, your CSS makes some character icons appear outside of the screen, but when i turned on Widescreen mode all the icons were there. Do i have to use Widescreen mode to be able to see all character icons at the character select screen?

Which value in the code do I need to change to replace another character instead of Zamus?

The problem with your code is that we can't chose 2 alloys at the same time,the second will be ZSS ><
Please help me,I want to fix this before re-upload my CSS

I have an Idea to make alloys have their own icon
I don't use ZSS,so with the character remplacement code,we could make:

Costume 0 of ZSS : Red Alloy
Costume 1 of ZSS : Blue Alloy
Costume 2 of ZSS : Yellow Alloy
Costume 3 of ZSS : Green Alloy
Costume 4 of ZSS : Giga Bowser
Costume 5 of ZSS : Warioman

And we just have to change the CPS of ZSS by new one
Ive try the remplacement code,it work fine,the only problem is after the match,the selected character turn into samus,so if someone can fix that,tell me
I will try the CPS too

EDIT: here it is
It's work fine
The only littles problems are
-Samus is selected after when you return to CSS
-When you choose your "special" character,it says "ZERO SUIT SAMUS" , it's not very important but if we could remove that...

The ZSS select case is remplaced by that (right botom corner)


Each 6 colors of ZSS is a new Character : Red Alloy,Blue Alloy,Yellow Alloy,Green Alloy ,Giga Bowser and Wario Man







In the SSS,they have their icon too

Just dont put on the character/costume replacement codes. Insta-ZSS.

BTW does anyone have the four corners version?
One that includes Sep. Zelda and Sheik, Independent Pkmn, ZSS?

I tried one before, but the ready to fight blocked some character faces, and some characters couldn't be selected.

I'll try and release a new version of it sometime this week.

Fun fact:

I didn't know it at the time, but the full extent of the modifications that the CSS Organizer does is nothing more than basic animation edits that BrawlBox is capable of.

If you open sc_selcharacter.pac in BrawlBox and open MiscData[30]>3dModels>MenSelchrPos_topN you can see all the bones that are linked to the CSS Icons. By previewing it with the corresponding animation file you can see the various layouts that are available every 3 or 4 frames. Additionally, MenSelchrFaceA through I are the icons used depending on how small they need to be (with MenSelchrFaceI being the smallest) - these can be scaled if someone desires to adjust the sizes of their CSS.

On a side note, it's likely that all menus are organized in this manner, so if anyone's feeling creative, perhaps someone might stumble upon a method for rearranging the other menus like the SSS or the main menu after the start screen.

I would absolutely love to rearrange the awkward design of Brawl's menus. Maybe I should look into that myself (not barring others from trying, I doubt I'll find what I'm supposed to be looking for).

I've made a custom/organized CSS with texture hack and redimensions hack



It works with the Custom CCS V3 with alloys,giga and company
At the begining,the character's frames were too small ,so I remplace the model with a bigger
Look at the little texture hack for the player and the cursor

okay so try scaling the positions to "cover up" the character names or try scaling the bones that have the positions for the names to 0 in the animations for it
that's basically what i did haven't tested it in-game though

ok so am I supposed to edit the bones on MenselchPos_TopN? all of them? the cpos and pos? I just scale them to (0,0,0) ??? im confused -. -

To remove the name tags just preview the "MenSelchrFaceI_TopN" model, find it's animation and edit the "nameEA7" bone's Translation Y to 100.

ok tried it. and it works, but the character square get bigger which is not really a problem, what I did notice thought is that the character squares at the bottom are crooked.

I would really like the names of the characters (on the thumbnail where you put the coin) gone.

my computer refuses to allow me to preview and then edit any models. SO this is getting ridic.

If anyone can please please please edit that to get rid of the name tags i will be forever in your thanks.

Can somebody please tell me how to get rid of the name tags on the character icon? I remember doing it once that involved deleting the polygons of some file, but I can't remember which.
