I've got one in mind for Ganon.

Breaking the seal.


Since this is for the idea of the pig form of Ganon with the design from A Link to the Past as a separate character from Ganondorf, I decided to reference the alter ego of Agahnim and his goal of transporting the 7 maidens to the dark world to break the wise men's seal.

To that end, each round will be a battle against a female character who relates to the boss guarding the maidens in chronological order in Alttp with a color that best emulates said boss and a stage that best represents that bosses respective dungeon.

Emulated Boss: None. No need to emulate Trinexx when the Maiden he guards is a playable character.

Colors: Default for Zelda (Color 1), Tunic of the Wild for Link (Color 2)

Stage: Omega Hyrule Castle. Sorry Turtle Rock, but your interpretation as a Lava dungeon in pretty much every Zelda game OTHER than A Link to the Past lead to some indecision on how best to represent you. So we're going with Hyrule Castle (Omega form as most Final Battles in Classic Mode tend to be) to capture the feel of when Link storms Hyrule Castle after getting the Master Sword instead.

NOTE: When the last bout in a characters classic run is a fight with another character there's usually something extra to it like how Mega Man fights Dr. Mario first and then fights Mewtwo in the same round. That's the little extra I added here. Ganon fights the last maiden and then the hero trying to save all the maidens.

Team Rocket’s Classic Mode: Pokémon Let’s Go Meowth!

Team Rocket wants to catch Pikachu!

Stage 1 - Onett
Based on the encounter at Viridian City. Pikachu because it is found in Viridian Forest, just outside of Viridian City.

Stage 2 - Spear Pillar
Based on the encounter on Mt. Moon. Jigglypuff because it is found on Route 3, right outside Mt. Moon.

Stage 3 - Prism Tower
Based on the encounter at Celadon City. Piranha Plant because Erika is the Grass-type Gym Leader.

Stage 4 - Luigi’s Mansion
Based on the encounter at the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town. Dark Samus because her Charge Shot resembles Ghost-type move Shadow Ball.

Stage 5 - Saffron City
Based on the encounter at Silph Co. in Saffron City. R.O.B. because Silph Co. invents gadgets and R.O.B. is an invention.

Stage 6 - Tortimer Island
Based on the encounter on Route 19 where they gave you the Gold Teeth. Inklings because there are many Tentacool and Tentacruel on Route 19.

Boss Battle - Big Blue
Based on the encounter on Route 17. Big Blue because Route 17 was known as Cycling Road.

I do know Sakurai did say no anime characters in Smash, but since Akira Toriyama DID both A: design Dragon Quest, and B: create Dragon Ball, a popular anime which even had it's own games, I'm hanging my hopes on one character from Dragon Ball. No, not Goku, even though he is one of the best Dragon Ball characters. (I mean, come on, SSJ4's max power is at the duodecillion mark.) My hopes are on Android 17, also known by his human name, Lapis.

Opponent 1: Ridley () in the 1st Meta Ridley costume. (A reference to Metroid Prime, specifically the Meta Ridley boss.)

Opponent 2: Cloud. () (A reference to the flashback Cloud has in Tifa's bar at the beginning of Final Fantasy VII, where Cloud, young during the flashback, thinks about joining SOLDIER.)

Opponent 3: Wolf. () (A reference to all the Star Wolf boss fights in the Star Fox series.)

Opponent 4: Kirby. () (A reference to all the bosses Kirby faces in the puffball's titular series.)

Opponent 5: Mega Man. () (A reference to all the Mega Man games.)

BONUS STAGE

Opponent 6: Galleom. (A reference to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where Galleom was created by The Subspace Army and dispatched by the Ancient Minister (who was R.O.B. in disguise.) to defeat Ike, Marth, and Meta Knight. After the trio of swordsmen defeated him, he then fought Pokémon Trainer and Lucas. After another loss, Galleom decided to do a last resort attack and blow himself up. However, Meta Knight rescued Red and Lucas and left The Ruins. Man, that was long.)

Final Opponent: Mewtwo. (A reference to Pokémon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back, where he was the main antagonist and created by Dr. Fuji and controlled by Giovanni to capture other Pokémon, and Pokémon Puzzle League, where he was the Puzzle Master and the Final Boss of the game on both the Very Hard difficulty AND the Super Hard difficulty.

I really like Sakura Kasugano. Although, for the Final Round, I would've put two parts for that. The first one being Ryu on the Great Plateau Tower, and the second part being Ganondorf in his 8th color on the same stage. Great job, though!
