I asking this because I really want to have 9 files for different playthroughs and if the special edition doesn't have them I think I'll not buy it because of this.

Yes, the special edition has 9 save files. And if you get the regular version, every path you download at the discounted price will add 3 save slots to your game. For example: I bought the regular version of Conquest. It had 3 save slots. I downloaded Birthright and i got three more save slots, making the total 6. When i buy Revelation on March 10th (which comes out next week BTW), it'll add 3 more save slots making the total 9.

Whenever a character dies in Classic and I have to reset, it really saps my motivation to keep playing. Especially if I was really close the to end of the level. And now that I'm late into the game, I've got a large unit cap, which also has the unfortunate downside of making the army really cumbersome to move in one group.

Let me guess - 14 was the one with all the cavaliers? Yeah, that one was quite rough on Hard Classic - Orochi is so damn squishy, she can't take any hits from those Paladins that are running circles around my army. I had to quickly take out one formation of cavaliers before they started all converging on me, then basically circle the wagons and set up a major defensive formation so that none of my weaker units would have to take more than one hit, if any. Trying to take out the cavaliers before they got to me once they'd started moving on their own just made it so I left too many openings for my squishies to get killed by the next wave. I had to use Ryoma as bait to pick off the wave of enemies guarding the first room of the castle.

Then I made it into the castle proper, forgot the enemy could use Attack Stance, and got Kagero killed by a Knight-General pair...

Arrei pretty much summed it up. The one that has the cavaliers in them...and the one in which the boss is a jester looking Strategist.

Boy is Corrin a badly written character.
"I felt so bad for killing all those kitsune, but Azura just told me it was necessary, so I instantly feel much better all of a sudden!"
If he truly felt that bad about it, a few words wouldn't of cheered him up...

Also Kaden's motivation was really weak. "Oh, the elders said you guys might be poachers, so I guess I'll have to kill you all! Sorry about that!"

So I just cleared this chapter, and I gotta ask... where did these sentiments of yours even come from?

Corrin beats himself up over bringing their war to unrelated folk, because he's a bleeding heart like that. Azura attempts to tell him that every path will have its share of sorrow, and to hold faith that his path is the right one. Corrin thanks Azura for cheering him up, but after she leaves, says to himself that he still has his doubts about his path. (It is, after all, a "wrong" path since Revelation is the true path to peace) It's clear he still has his misgivings, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate Azura's concern for him.

Also Kaden (and Keaton) are basically animals in human bodies, so yeah. You intrude on their territory, and they attack. Kaden's not exactly the cleverest fox in the bush, either.

I finally beat Conquest Ch.17. I'm not kidding when i say this, it took me 60 turns. 60 TURNS! And that's not counting the turns from failed attempts. Here's what i did: I paired up Xander and Nyx (they were married and so they get the most out of stat boosts), i paired up Ike and Benny (almost unbreakable tank 4dayz) paired up Shura and Keaton (Shura really needed that defense buff) and finally, myself and Azura. I was only able to get the Master Seal from the bottom chest. So after a long battle, i finally get to the boss. Shura is the only one with a high enough hit-rate to kill him. I put Shura 2 spaces away from Kotaru and i put Azura right behind Shura. For every time Shura didn't get a critical, i had Azura sing him a song so that he could move back, recover HP, and try again. I kept doing that until turn 60 where i finally killed the boss. It took me the entire weekend!

Namely Niles and Effie - the former because he does like zero damage and the latter because her defenses aren't good enough to make up for the fact that she gets doubled every time anymore. Maybe it's because I haven't played any of the child paralouges but one.

So I just cleared this chapter, and I gotta ask... where did these sentiments of yours even come from?

On a map crawling with infinite Faceless reinforcements and a layout designed for them to take long-range potshots at you. The ones with Massive Rocks can kill Azura and Elise in a single shot! I hope pulling out my remaining Freeze and Rescue staves won't screw me over later...

This map made me glad I had so many royal children, particularly ones that could fly. With proper spacing, no one ever got hit because of Dragon Veins.

Hmm, yeah, that's another problem, I suppose. Wyvern Lord Camilla's my only flying unit right now. I had Mozu as a Kinshi Knight but turned her into a Sniper once she got Air Superiority. I have Heart Seals available now, perhaps I should get another flier into the fray. Can't turn Elise into a Malig Knight though, I need her healing...
