He placed third in Brawl Singles. Everything else, he averaged first (Brawl/Melee Doubles) and second (Melee Singles).

Apparently his loss at FAST 1 was nonchalant. He threw his last stock at Reflex by blowing himself away with C4. I dunno. A lot of the people are attributing it to him "not caring," which is more than likely true. It IS Brawl, after all.

So I saw that CTcon isn't having a GG tourney this year, even though last year's turnout was pretty good. Hopefully, we can hold a side tourney.

I may look into entering some of those MTG events as well.

Jam-Agreed! I made it back home without getting shot at on Main street. Next time I come over we have to hit up at least 3-4 more levels on Rogue Squadron. That game is tooo good.

Good stuff. The Dark Knight opening weekend estimate is currently at $155 mill, but their estimates are really close. Usually they end up being 3-5 mill lower than the actual amount. So I'll go ahead and say that it'll have a $160 mill opening, which is insane. What's your guess for what it'll make on Monday? I say $22 mill and that would be pretty unbelievable if it did that.

The word of mouth is insane on this movie so I don't think the drop off will be nearly as bad as other big summer movies. Be interesting what the final tally is.

My copy of Melee is slightly broken. Two of the stages no longer work, and they just happen to be FD and Stadium, my two favorite stages I mean WTF everytime I select them it loads then says "Ready..GO!" and then the screen goes black and it says error can't read the disc. Bull ****ing ****. It could've taken ANY other two stages and I wouldn't have cared. Jesus I wouldn't have blinked if Fountain stopped working, I hate that ****ing stage.

Whoa, I read part of that before realizing you were quoting something directly from the graphic novel. I hope it's not too much of a spoiler, I tend to remember these things. I was quoting the trailer, I haven't even started the novel yet. I swear I will when I find time. After seeing that trailer I HAVE to finish it before the movie. Just in case the movie sucks the novel won't be ruined for me, and if the movie's amazing I'll appreciate it even more.

Whew, thank god. You were talking about the guy who dies in the beginning. That's the only thing I know about Watchmen, that's its the events following a famous superhero's death I think. Oh man, I wish I had time, I really want to start this thing. Interestingly enough, it looks as though Zack Snyder did a good job from the trailer.
