sigh video game execs continue to disappoint me lately.... there needs to be a coup'de tat in the video game industry.... why must everything be made simpler... i miss the days of old... when games where actually challenging
Of course it's good business---I don't deny that---but it's highly disappointing to see.it's awful when dumbing down of genuinely good games leads to better sales
it would explain the influx of belts and zippers lately >_>don't tell me that, ill kill someone... i swear if they start messing with my rpgs... there will be hell to pay
yah especially when all the games usually have an EASY modeOf course it's good business---I don't deny that---but it's highly disappointing to see.
Smooth Criminal
Haha, My wife and I are playing SMB 3 right now.I think Super Mario 3 is harder than 80 percent of the newer games coming out.
Respondent 1 said:Brawling isn't about using only those moves that guarantee a win. Or choosing (or refusing to play on) stages where you have the advantage. It's a shame so many people shut out the majority of the elements of Brawl because they no longer have a clear understanding, ability, or patience for anything other than straightforward levels. It's not a game that you should seek our perfect combinations. Restricting your opponent from playing or giving a chance for attack is pointless and hardly shows any skill past button memorizations. It's not Brawling anymore.

yah i didn't get all the responses either, but i did learn a lot and it was an interesting read thanks jamThat was an interesting read. Though, some of their responses made me confused as to what exactly they are trying to get out of joining or participating in the competitive smash community.
Particularly this response:
What is this world coming to?
