Got in an argument with 2 people who claimed 2001 is the most overrated movie of all time, went dressed as Barney Stinson for halloween and 98.3 percent of the people I encountered didn't know who he was, saw and loved 50/50, still haven't seen Drive, turned down a foursome with three chicks, Sucker Punch remains the worst film I've ever seen, and tonight I'm swamped with so much work due tomorrow but I'm going to spend my time playing LoL.

Yes, grenade is a valid term in this case.
However, turning down a foursome with 2 hot girls and 1 grenade seems like a horrible idea. That's like a once in a lifetime opportunity even if it's not perfect! If it didn't go well you could never speak of it again, or either way you could be able to say that you did it at least!

Also, LoL is evil. Playing it more and more and I've realized they just release a new broken champ every 2 weeks, and the patches don't do **** for balance issues. They buff or nerf just a couple of champs, why don't they ever buff the old cast, the ones who are virtually useless now like Master Yi. Nope, it's all about that cc! **** this game. Also solo queueing in ranked has driven me insane yet I continue to do it. This game is ruining my life I swear
never even been interested in an Xsome where X > 2, tbh. Just seems like it would be awkward
.you should just play with smashers or something. solo queue will drive you crazy unless you have the right mindset for it and kick a lot of *** (like me
). otherwise, you're better off making friends and duoing/5sing with them. and re: balance, they're doing ok. Yi's just stupid design and will never feel like a consistently good character, same way it'll work with Pantheon or Katarina. They're snowballers by design, so you'll either butcher people or get dunked, there's not a lot of middleground for their kits. Most of the original cast is roughly as viable as the new champs, you just happen to like a particularly binary one .

Eh I'll always be a Yi main at heart. I currently jungle Udyr to carry me out of elo hell. And I'll tell ya, duoing isn't enough. My elo is so bad that we get paired with feeders more often than not. Like, I'm not great at this game, but I'm not terrible either. My elo is so low because I have spectacularly bad luck and get matched with the morons and afk/disconnecters. It boggles the mind that people can play hundreds of hours in this game and still not know ****. Oh man, some of them don't even know what last hitting is >_>
there's no such thing as consistent bad luck. if you play a ton and don't rise, you should probably take a closer look at your own play .

Buddy, I know well enough when it's my fault when my team loses. But when I get the ganks early game as jungler and my team STILL feeds and doesn't cooperate there's not a damn thing I can do about it. Also, there IS such a thing as consistent bad luck because I have it rofl. Tanks that don't tank, mids that feed, solo tops that overextend at all times, and no one pushes when we win team fights. Oh man, if only you could play a game with me you'd see. You can't carry two or more feeders, you just can't. Not when they go 0/10 hahha I ****ING HATE THIS GAME I'M GONNA MAIN GANGPLANK

Played LoL, worked, had a summer, got a girlfriend, played consistently less LoL, went back to school, played even less LoL, work all the time, procrastinate harder. Like right now. >_>
I think I watch more LoL streams than I do spend playing because I convince myself I can watch the stream and do something else at the same time but then never do and by the time I realize it I don't have time to log in and play anymore. :{

it's alright, it's been a long time coming and I've known it.
I wish she could get over it, but there's not much I can do about that. I feel more or less fine now and am doing ok at easing up on the binge drinking and gaming and getting out. Ceramics class has actually been really good for that. Arts are pretty cool, especially when your day job is hanging out with a bunch of engineers. It's like a complete 180 for the type of people you hang out with, which I think I needed right now.

Ha that's awesome, and actually a really good idea for someone that's just been through something like that. Gets them out of their head and lets them vent in a way by hard work and creativity. Example: when I broke up with my girlfriend at senior prom I spent a month alone in the woods with a kitchen knife and built a log cabin by hand. But CogSmooch, you say, what did you eat? Well, I used the manly beard I grew in 11 hours to attract sluts. I then made these sluts cook for me. Problem solved.

weird side-note about pottery. there's this girl in my class (actually, I'm the only dude, lol, again, completely 180 from engineers all day), who also semi-recently broke up with her college sweetheart who was living in DC while she was up in CT o_O. ****in' small world, but yea, it's actually pretty nice to have someone who can relate to your situation on that level. She's also been to like, everywhere I've been outside of the US. And she's cute. And she has a new boyfriend, FUUUU... But she's invited me out to Trivia Night at my old favorite bar with her friends, which is pretty cool and I'm pretty stoked for it. Kinda amazing that I break up, pick up an old hobby and fill the void and voila, new friends immediately. Very convenient and nice. Makes me sad I spent so much time trying to make LDR work and potentially missed out on expanding my social horizons sooner.

moved out, played LOL, Started cooking alot(no chipotle or five guys anymore), started actually playing with CT smashers, started actually playing marth in tourney, started running HOGs, Played LOL, Started Grad School, Got a Promotion and a transfer(norwalk), Still looking for another job(lol never satisfied), upgraded comp, Now I am happy for Wes and his boucning back and am about to play LoL now. <3 Zilean
Dude good stuff doing it for so long with Maria. I could never bring myself to such a feat. Have fun being single. I honestly miss it a bit. Its not like I don't love being with my GF but we all know that feeling. anyways thats my update

hmm, I dunno, I rarely feel regret towards my life decisions. I guess I don't really regret staying with Maria because it was a valuable experience to have to go through it all, but right now I just feel like I stayed with it for too long. Ahh well, life's too damn short to regret stuff you can't change.
