Sooo I was at a friends house a couple weeks ago with some people and a guy there was like "HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE VIDEO OF THE LADY STOMPING GRAPES AND SHE FALLS??" And he was like SO excited about it and was rofling all over the place watching it. I sat there awkwardly thinking to myself 'I know not everybody spends as much time on the internet as I do, but come on...'

When the commercial came on TV I was like "Hmm this sounds a lot like Childish Gambino, but what would he be doing on an Adidas ad -- HOLY **** it's him no wai!" or something like that.
whaaaa that's awesome! Good for him. Although it's pretty hilarious they found like the only 5 seconds where he doesn't swear.
Also, first thing I thought of was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmTRPQlzLT4 1:50

Actually they had cut up and re-mix the song to get it to work for the commercial. :smash:

The first 20-25 seconds are just the beats from different parts of the song, and they increased the volume of the "Hey!"s in the background it seems. Also, they didn't find a part where he doesn't swear, they just censored it.

smashfest stratford 3:00 to god knows when

Where and when? If it's tomorrow I don't think I can go even though I live in Stratford. Blast!

They also chop up/re-arrange songs for commercials... it's to the point where it doesn't even phase me anymore. And yeah I noticed that censor the 2nd time... lol

Also, I'm in love... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOrOgeHJeVE&feature=related ?

Yeah it's more annoying with movie trailers though. They'll splice up totally different scenes just so they can get the back-and-forth reactions and whatnot that they want to make it look better/funnier/whatever. Then when you see the movie you're like "THAT NEVER HAPPENS THE TRAILER LIED!"

I hate when they do that to dialogue scenes, it's so obvious to me whenever I see it now :glare:

is it just me or could you make an entire 90000th post worth of gifs from this music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ6zr6kCPj8&feature=player_embedded
....no.
Although it might just be my dislike for the 'band'.
