I'm not going to alter how I press the buttons based on the opinions of random players, Husband tells me he uses the C-Stick, Cort tells me he doesn't, does it matter, not really, I just know my options and I choose from there.

Hahaha, yeah well I was going to school out of state so I didn't think I'd be in CT but I'm transferring so I'll prob. be staying here now.

I'm also not the most social person so I just had fun learning the diff. characters and watching vids but now I feel like playing people.

So I guess there are some smash players nearby.....maybe we can play sometime on the weekends.

Aesir, most people in the Smash community that I've encountered are nice and embrace new players with hints, tips, strategies, or even encouragement, not stupid opinions and dumb statements like,"I'm better than you." You need to chill out and have fun, maybe get laid or something.

Dorf, who challenges someone to a MM that they know they're way better than, that's like me challenging you to a fist fight, the only difference is you wouldn't learn anything, or remember anything for that matter. My tag is Erci (pronounced Urr-key), I have no problem with people referring to me as such, I also have no problem if other people call you Eric. So chill...son.

then I decided to use the c-stick suddenly I'm do better and not losing to scrubby players. I'm opinionated yes and I come off as arogant its only because I hate seeing people make mistakes I've made.

Aiser doesn't mean any harm, that's just how he is. He is a nice guy in person. As for shmink, that challenge he proposed was more of a friendly gesture, or joke. We're all good people, so let's not fight amongst ourselves.

It's just a matter of preference, don't get your knickers in a knot. Cort doesn't use the c-stick and he beats Chu, I use the C-stick and Chu beat me with his pichu. Don't use the c-stick.

Doesn't anyone know of some big videogame store/church/school that's willing to let people use the space 1-2x a month? Seems like other areas/states have regular gatherings but like you said CT seems like little pockets of people playing at houses.
