The geetar...picked it up my senior year of high school and then went to school for music...I am so dumb, haha, BUT doing something you love is amazing.

I play the drums too and I really really really want to take piano lessons instead of just hacking at it using theory knowledge.

I remember from conversations with Dave that you play too...what do you play?
I had no idea you were a musician >_>
I play guitar and alto and tenor sax and took like 12 years of violin but have forgotten it all.

I would love to get good at piano too but yeah basic theory knowledge helps ha

何?
@V: Dave plays guitar.

@Cog: Hey, I play alto saxophone too! I haven't touched it in a year or so, but I'll probably pick it up again at some point.

Thanks Daz, much appreciated!
does the whole file get erased or just goes back to the first day of when you last time traveled?

If the whole game is erased then I would check to see if other saved data on your memory card works. The chances of having a faulty game that doesn't allow you to save properly is pretty low.

If you keep returning to the first day then there's something up with what you're doing after you save at the owl. the owl is only a quick save so if you continue playing the game after then that data will be lost. The GC version has glitches in the game where the game will freeze if you press any buttons at certain times. Those will cause the game data to restart from the first day.

I don't think he ever did anything about it

i have no idea why its easier for me to think while playing in sf4 than in smash. it might be because im not that familiar with sf4 enough to have habits.but i play so much smarter in that game.

it's because sf4 isn't as fast-paced as ssbm and you don't have to constantly be moving. the technical things in that game don't require terribly much practice (outside of combos, which don't fall in the same category) and therefore you sort of can't fall into habits. if someone always shoryu's on wakeup, you can tell, and they will usually fix it if you keep punishing them because it's more obvious that, say, rolling towards the center of the stage every time if you mix up your punishes

melee is technical and etc.

This is why Melee is arguably one of the greatest fighting games ever created along with Street Fighter.

Try to show a Street Fighter player how to play Melee and a Melee player can wreck the crap out of them but show a Melee player Street Fighter and they can learn it much faster and keep up much more.

Street Fighter is one of the best fighting games ever made but what makes Melee so much better is the amount of technical skill, depth, stages affect your playing, more to character match ups other than "camping ability," and the importance of momentum shifts.

I also find that SF4 is stupid in the sense that you can be ****** someone all match and then as either Sagat, Akuma, or Ken all it takes is one Ultra and they are right back in the game. I could never take Street Fighter seriously as a competitive fighting game because the most competitive one is third strike and all the characters in that game aren't really to my liking aside from Akuma and Ryu.

SleepyK-A couple of fighting games you would possibly place as "best" ?

As much as I would like to say smash 64...it's not! LOL.

If you don't say Marvel 2 or Super Street Fighter II than I'm going to cut you. :)

That n64 comment just reminded me

Someone needs to play me in Smash 64 now. My Fox got mad good.

Marc? Cort?........PC? ZOMG Fox dittos!

in smash your can be ****** someone and all they need is a grab/gimp depending on characters, and theyre back in the match.
