either prices on ram have dropped alot or im a bit skeptical of the price for that ram. make sure to get alot of reviews and stuff. from what I know kingston is pretty trustworthy. You may have found a deal.

I would go for a diff vid card tho. EVGA/NVIDIA/radeaon/XFX/pinnacel/PNY are reliable.

if you think about upgrading you board, go with gigabyte or asus.(however if yo ugonna upgrade your board might as well rebuild is what i say).

thats more like it. watchout tho. evga form what i know makes large models. make sure you know the dimensions of your case and of the card. I would imagine that some minitowers have a hard timeing fitting some of the cards that evga makes.

Yes it should, I did some quick research on PCI Express 2.0 vs 1.1 and 1.0, and as long as the mobo has a PCI E x16 slot, it doesn't matter which version it is (the card you linked is 2.0).

However, that video card is not in stock at Newegg, unless you plan to buy it somewhere else. This card is basically the newer version of the 8800GTS though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150316.

It might be very slightly less powerful, but it's built on slightly newer/better architecture so they're probably about even. Also it's cheaper and comes with Call of Duty 4, which still sells for $30-50 I believe.

If $130ish is your price point, then I'd recommend this one if you're looking to buy ASAP.

Just make sure your current video card isn't the AGP version in case you missed that. Just look at the type of connection it has with the mobo and compare that to the pictures of the ones online if you're unsure.
