So I haven't played in Brawl since like mid-summer. I played a few friendlies a month ago and faired decently against people who only play brawl, despite only playing Melee.

So whats changed? Back when I used to play all Falcos did was shoot lasers and grab people. Watching recent matches of DEHF, I see alot of aggressive play, which is heartwarming. Watching him ZTD combo Mike Haze in some tournament in september makes me happy inside.

congrats your back and I expect this thread to be locked shortly in the next 24 hours if teran gets here. but nothing has really changed much. everyone still thinks to camp and all, but we learned an important lesson, mix it up.

Well, Falco is still great as ever. Larry beat Dojo @ a tourney when Dojo planked most of the match. Sk92 hasn't been communicating much but we've got new recruits to the Bakery.

Larry also 2-0'ed Ally at Activegamers, Ally ended up finishing 9th.

SK92 also pwned Mojoe and make him cry XD.

Still probably going to play Melee more often, but after watching a bunch of DEHF and M2K videos, I want to play again.

I'll see if I can get some matches recorded next time I play.

I wouldn't necessarily say DEHF's is the BEST playstyle

In fact, I don't believe that there is a universally BEST playstyle.

Just do what works for you, but I think that we can all agree that DEHF mixes up defensive and aggressive gameplay very well

Keyword right there that applies to all of the best and most effective playing styles. The ability to mix up what it is you are going to do.

After reading up on Falco stuff and checking out more videos, I want to focus on playing aggressive. I have a few questions.

Specifically, I have problems with Pikachu, Snake, and Ice Climbers. Is there a character that can at least alleviate the terrible matchups Pikachu and Ice Climbers provide?

I mess around with Rob for these match ups, but is there a higher-tier character that can fix these match ups?

Actually IC's don't have much of a problem with GnW. Marth takes care of Pika and IC's though.

Spent all day getting massacred by a falcon who doesn't play brawl, and a peach main.

I would go as far as saying that IC's go fairly even with Marth, but I suppose he has a better time than falco
