So what's different in platinum? For some reason I've heard that there are quite a few differences. Aside from Skymin and Origin Giratina.

Wi-fi stuff, mostly. Although getting giratina was pretty epic imho. You have to walk on walls and ****, it's something out of Twilight zone.

Also, sorry nite, but this will break your heart even more. I was talking to my mom and found out that there's a wedding on her side during Supercon, so I'll be missing that one too =/. Her cousin's kid, so I think that's 2nd cousin? I'm not sure how that whole system of cousins and numbers works. =/
And yeah Moblin, the snow is working its way through.

Ya know, now that I think about it. I never really played the ones that Platinum is based off of. Ruby and Sapphire I think it is? Either way.
The weirdest thing happened today. My Cousin called today, and it turns out the douche that I didn't like is getting married to her. Furthermore, they want our family to come to the ceremony in North Carolina on April 18th.
Wow, really? While I love NVGA and want to go and everything, one, there's barely any way I can get out of this, and two, I do wanna go to NC to see my friends there on a free trip instead of a 200 dollar one. So it looks like I'm gonna be missing NVGA too.

For the convention, only singles is scheduled. If we get enough people there that are interested, we'll be able to run doubles, but singles is the only thing that has time allotted. So we'll just have to play it by ear.

Weird truth. The reason most of the family doesn't like the guy is because he's white. But I think he's just a douche. I hate people so much. Either way, turns out that Tim is also going to NC. Really weird, but this is gonna be the best wedding ever!
