Dunno yet. Still a maybe this season. But there's league every sunday in clairemont and I still hang out with everyone there.

pshhhh... thats another thing about the brawl community thats lame in comparrison to melee. i remember when melee was at it's prime how people would drive hours and hours to smash or for a tourney...in fact many people even took a plane for events! it seems as though no one is willing to travel anywhere when it comes to brawl... tisk tisk tisk. how do people expect to get better if they only keep playing the same people over and over and over again?

bone... u know what i'm talking about lol. melee was too good :( haha

I drove about 2 hours to Chula Vista and i was never part of the Melee scene.

Coming from a guy that doesn't drive to Chula to a bunch of guys that made the drive to San Fran...whut?!

i'm not trippin. it's just i tend to hear complaints about driving for brawl tournies so much more than when melee was around. i just find that interresting, just a notation that i wrote for all to see lol.

I don't think PKSkyler even has a car... or is even old enough to drive. Along with the protective parents, I'm going to say this is legit. A lot of the brawl community seems younger...

And you can see the older smash have been traveling.

I agree, brawl has some younger players and since melee was around for a while it had a long time to develope and brawl is still relatively new so..... I say give it some time to really develope like it did with melee then eventually people wouldn't mind taking a drive up there....

we haven't had the great UCSD lodge much YET. that venue is like the middle of the SD area. not to mention how good it was there

hey guys, yeah im 15 so i cant drive and i live in linda vista so its kinda far......and i dont have a car and my parents dont like taking me to these they are pretty over protective...sorry I didnt mean to start anything im not trying to complain or anything.....

The venue and our effort to be good hosts are what's important. That carries over to how people percieve us and whether or not they want to come down to Chula Vista and play YOU since you're 10 and can't drive anywhere. :p
