4 Swords just came out but sadly you can only play it with other 3DSes/DSis. I was really hoping it would be download play compatible with DSes because that's what most of my friends still have Ever since this game was originally released it seems like Nintendo has been doing whatever it could to make multiplayer as difficult and inconvenient as possible.

In other news, Star Fox 64 3D's multiplayer is revamped and COMPLETELY ****ING LEGIT! Seriously it's vastly improved over the original, has Mario Kart-ish powerups (except nothing as stupid as blue shells or lightning), and even has pretty damn good AI opponents. Sooo much fun!

There are actually some pretty clever new powerups. One of them lets you switch places with your nearest opponent and as far as I can tell it always places you facing the guy you just traded places with. That's a pretty nice trick when you have someone on your tail.

What to say for my first post here...

I won a FFA tourney a few weeks ago as R.O.B.. Originally the ruleset was 5-stock 6-minute 4-player FFA with all items on high, but after the TO saw my R.O.B. in the first round he changed it to a 6-minute KO fest "because the game isn't called Super Smash Brothers Run-away-and-time-your-opponents-out".

I think I was actually the only legit brawl player in the tourney too. I know a few other good players were at the convention (I played Bees! and a couple other people whose usernames/player tags I don't know in friendlies afterwards, -Ran was there scouting good players but didn't stay long) but they all saw the ruleset and said "LOLno."

StarFox64 3D is definitely worth getting. I have a bunch of friends with 3DSs and we do multiplayer like it was Mario Kart DS back in the day.

I jelly. I only have one friend atm with a 3DS. The AI is friggin good though even on normal difficulty.
