@chibo: i get what you're saying. but i prefer the sf "style" of fighting games over the easier lenient stuff that involves uber long combos.

(but then again, DOA and other tekken-like games have some crazy frame perfect **** too)

most traditional fighters have too many attack buttons -_-
3 punches and 3 kicks wtf

doa is kinda like smash
one punch button
one kick button
one grab button
then one counter button

the rest are macros set for combos

@leisha - i played through it though during a reaalllly early translation pack, i only had menus and nothing else. it was tough getting trhough the game with no story help at all lol

im not about to pick up smoking lol

i'll keep it in mind. once in a while their stock model goes as low as 30, and you can do a full upgrade for genuine japanese parts for about an extra 40-50 bucks

(their stock parts kinda break down after a few months)

toodles's MC Cthulhu is pretty legit. it covers just about every console in existence, in case if you want a multiplatform stick.

Man, I missed a fun conversation.

My team is gonna be Arthur/Tron Bonne/Ammy. Maybe swap T.Bonne with Zero. Arthur looks like a campy mofo, should be fun. :3 Felicia and Morrigan look interesting too, I might play them as well. Arthur for sure though, I love the Ghoul's n Ghosts series too much to not play him.

I'm getting it for PS3, my PSN is ZombieSwarm, though my internet is being weird with my PS3 atm, so I probably won't be online right away. :/

really? theres no stringent timing, (maybe except for a few exceptions) you just mash out attacks one after another

I agree with Fu. It's not like, say, some characters in Tekken or some parts of Street Fighter. Marvel's inputs just need to be correct and timely and in order, but they're not frame-perfect.

I wouldn't call wrestling bad, just not to my taste. Just because you don't like going to a theater and watching random plays doesn't mean they're bad. That's all wrestling is too, extreme theater. Soap opera mixed with testosterone. Better than NASCAR at least.
