ROB's nair is amazing in Melee.

I can't wait to play Sudai's P:M ROB. My Brawl Pika is bad because I've been playing Melee for so many years. o.o But once I get Melee Pika functions... ^.^

NAir puts them in a good punishment position at low percents. BAir is always a bad *** walling option, and FSmash true combos into FTilt at low percent. ;]

im terrible at melee now

its hard balancing out melee and ssf4, the skills from each game doesnt transfer over well. =/

i can rock out against scrubs, but not against my friends who devote to mostly melee.

school doesnt help much either.

Yes, but everyone knows Melee is 1,000 x better... I had been going only Brawl in order to master Brawl Pika but I really don't play enough smash with other people to master either Melee or Brawl's Pikas. x.x Not to mention I still need to get wavedashing down and that's only the ----basics---- of pro Melee play &.&

Melee's so nostalgic for me, that's one reason I like it. The other reasons are it was the first game I ever got for my GC, the first smash game I ever got, AND the first real fighter game I ever really liked. I didn't know/care about tiers/frame data/glitches/techs back then, I had my Pikachu and he was my bliss.

I suck at tech skill and I was better at brawl than I ever was at melee (because brawl is hella easier to be good at), but melee is a lot more fun and I'll never go back to brawl.

I agree. Melee is just tons of fun, and I haven't even seen P:M yet (ok, one vid, but still). I have a question about P:M, do you know if you will be finished before 2011? I'm not impatient, I just want to know if I'll be 18 by then and could go visit you and (be one of the first Pika mains to) test out P:M Pika. ^_^

I just spent a hell of a lot of time trying to shave my BtT times down for Falcon, Fox, and Roy. So far I got 00:11:65, 00:15:96, and 00:09:08 in that order. The milliseconds might be a little off, but I'm too lazy to go back and check.

I never tried to beat any best time for anyone other than Pika... my best Pika time was 00:26:95.

I love Brawl too. My only gripe is the random tripping. That's about it. XD

Well, minus certain things :o I think what mostly made it not as good to me was the pace change (MK being the obvious biggest reason). It's not as fast as Melee... but I guess slower pacing is good for some too :o I do like how Brawl had that whole adventure mode thing with a plot. That made it pretty interesting to play through. Brawl took out the L/R sensitivity which really made it more difficult in defense (Pika being light doesn't help XD) but it also added a bigger ledge grab area and fixed air dodges to be much nicer.
Guess it really being bad just depends on who plays it. Lol. XD I'd still prefer Melee, really, though.

But since P:M will come out soon, right now I'm going more with that. XD
