20 days.

I haven't bought anyone, save 1 person, anything.

What're good presents?

That aren't ****e.
Like chocolate.
Or candles.

And aren't mega expensive.
Like watches.
Or jewelry.

But still mean something.
Not like clothes.
Or toys.

And don't require much thought.
Not like handmade stuff.
Or customised stuff.

...
Anyway.
Who here celebrates/cares about Christmas?
I don't.
But I still think it's sort of special, considering how long it's been going on.
Like Easter.
And Valentines.
... But not really Valentines, more-so Easter and Christmas.
But I like Valentines more. c:

Also:
I'll buy whoever sends me their address a card and something INCREDIBLY small (if I can find said incredibly small item). =]
And don't worry I won't write anything ridiculous in the card, unless you want me to. :D

Yes... I'm bored.
Shut up.
Zzz...

I know.
I'm bored.
I can't get to sleep at all, dunno why.

You know what's lame?
When people tell you what to get them for said special occasion.
It's almost as if they're saying:
"I know you'll get me something ****, or something that I won't like, even though you thought of what I would like and tried your best (maybe), so instead I'll tell you what to get me, because I know what I like, and who cares about what you want to get me, because it's only about me."
I guess I need to not be so relentless to selfishness.

No.
I've never celebrated it, really.
Although, like, my family has.
Like, they go out, and do all that, but I don't.

I'm the black-sheep of my entire family, extended and immediate.
I only 'just' realised that, lol.

I wanna do something special for Christmas, though.
But unfortunately, not everyone feels the same way. =]

I'll be taking time off.

We should do something Kas.

Although I dunno what we could do.

Boxing day is when I usually go up to TZ, but I wouldn't mind doing something else.

For Xmas day...

My parents are organizing a small family gathering which I dont particularly look forward to (due to it being mostly dad's side relatives who I don't know who most are and dont get along with). What will make it more amusing on flip side is that, mum's asking my bf (whom they havent met) and sis' bf to come too. So...that maybe fun.

...Oh I'm also dreading Karaoke. /stab self

FAAAAAARK!

I look forward to Chinese New Years though...haha

My family are religious, but not overly so we celebrate it for it's original meaning (i.e. birth of Christ)
I wont be getting much, my early present came early, got an upgrade from a single to a Queen size bed. XD
Might buy myself an Xbox for birthday/xmas. Oh, and i'm one of those unlucky S.O.B's who was born within a week of Christmas. December 19. Whoo. What's that, its the same monetary value as what the rest of the family got but it's a joint present? HOW THOUGHTFUL. Cheap c**ts.

I look forward to Chinese New Years though...haha
A bonus of me having a half Asian side, is fireworks and money in little red and gold envelopes. Chinese New Year is win.

Agreed with Tibs.
I know too many Asian people who get money for next to no reason.
It's like pocket-money... x100. Lol.
But then again, considering they're all so strict (well, not all, but quite a lot), then I suppose it SORT OF evens out.
Not really.
But still.

Xmas.
19 days away.

Nothing's open.
Nothing to do.
Xmas is a boring day.

There ARE always things to do.
On Xmas day or not.
And there are things to do if you live in the middle of nowhere.
Just nothing you can do with other people, unless you feel like driving out to see them.
It's just since it's a day that most people do something with their families, no one is free to do anything.
Yeah?

Christmas' origins are actually secular in nature. Being that it was the winter solstice, the evergreen trees were considered special because they weren't deciduous like the other trees. This was considered as a demonstration of the life-giving power of Mother Nature and began their foundation as chrissy trees :)

Oh, and i'm one of those unlucky S.O.B's who was born within a week of Christmas. December 19.
random thought of the day: You have the same birthday as an ex-gf of mine :)

I look forward to Chinese New Years though...haha
In my view Chinese New Year should be a national holiday. But then that takes away the point in giggling at all the Caucasian people who are stuck in lectures :D

Exactly - no point in having the money if you're not allowed to leave the house to spend it :p

On the regard of presents, there's a guy I know who gave someone a "metaphysical present" to one of his friends because "he felt their bond should not be measured by physical means"... It was quite hilarious at the time (mainly the look on the girl's face xD) but the more I think about it, maybe the best present you can give someone on Christmas is your own presence...

Still, it doesn't worry me - my family doesn't celebrate Christmas within itself, so all we do is visit the extended family on each side...

MTGod I love you even though I don't know who you are. <3 Raven.

Christmas. I'm a Grinch. Everyone else in my family celebrates it (like bogans) except me. I just sit around playing games and.... oh wait, I guess I do celebrate it a little if by celebrate, you mean play games that you told people not to buy you but they do anyway...

I want a massive Christmas tree, that's like... huge.
Too big to fit in the house or even outside 'cause it's just that massive.
Awesome.
Innuendo lol.

And Mic, I guess that's alright.
I know a couple of books people want. c:
Hoorah.
Should buy people weights/treadmill/bike as well, so they can stop being fat.
Hurhurhurhur, so thoughtful.

17 days to go.
