I don't know who JDN is, and I imagine it is related to Krystal's Staff?

It's just an abbreviation I have for another user who I seldom have any agreements with ever since I came here.

But enough of that, I'll admit yes, it would've been about her staff, but other Krystal supporters asked me not to talk about it in this thread, and I haven't checked her respective thread in forEVER!!!

I would love the idea of Krystal using a staff; however, I think that it be more appropriate if it was a new Staff made for the game. As in, basically an electronic staff is what I would like to see, as it would fit her new occupation better.

When I say clone, I mean anything from Dr. Mario to Wolf. Whether straight-up or heavily altered, a clone is still a clone. You know what I'm talking about, so we shouldn't need to quantify every term with posts like this which are entirely about semantics.

Regarding your roster, I love the addition of King Boo and Chorus Men. I'm having a little trouble working out how Slime would work as a character, though.

Mewtwo is my third least favorite Pokémon. Despise might be exaggerating, but I still strongly dislike him.

Slime could morph its body, summon other Slimes, use moves it uses in the DQ games, etc. Check his thread for movesets.

Perhaps, though I think it would cool if were a piece of new technology developed by the SF, or something. To fit with the aesthetic the other Starfox characters have.

I think I should explain my new choices.

Anna: It's become increasingly apparent that uniqueness is a major factor in newcomer selection. Which is why I can't see them adding Chrom by himself. It would be, quite honestly, a waste of a slot.

I think Anna is a viable candidate on her own for many reasons. One of the reasons Awakening was so successful is because of it's DLC, and all the present FE characters represent that. Anna would too, as she's featured extensively in the DLC chapters (including as a boss) and is basically it's mascot. Besides, she's been present in every game in the series. I don't think she's a mascot or anything, but she stands out and has history, and I think that she has a good, viable chance to get in.

Pac-Man: Pac-Man represents the Arcade era, which is where Nintendo's business really began. This Pac-Man doesn't speak; he uses sound effects from the classic arcade game.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT REMOVING GHIRAHIM.

I'd be pretty cool with this roster. My only major gripe is that I want Isaac. But I don't expect him 100%.

Objectively speaking, Wolf isn't a clone. I don't know what else to say, did you read the definition? The more accurate term that you are looking for is "pseudo-clone." I do feel the inherent desire to argue semantics, as you are not properly using the term. Wolf isn't a clone. I apologize.

I didn't misconstrue anything; you are clearly defending the position that I thoroughly refuted. Therefore it is improbable that there was any misinterpretation on my part. Perhaps I was being far too literal.

Maybe if we are talking about aesthetics; fifteen minus four is eleven, eleven is not half of fifteen. I would argue that Wolf doesn't even share an U-Special, S-Special, or N-Special to be perfectly honest. The reflector is the only move, and again, it has completely different properties.

I don't what to do with Isaac at this point.

Ike's Ragnell is not known to be a sword with magical fire capabilities like Roy's Sword of Seals is. The only reason Ike would have a move that not only has the same ignition properties as Roy's sword, but the same exact function as Roy's Flare Blade attack would be because it's a throwback to Roy.

Melee's cut clones were cheap and uninspired, copying the majority of their movesets with minimal effort to differentiate them from the characters they were based on. Wolf and Lucas take only the bare bones of Fox and Ness' specials. Their smashes and aerials and whatnot, for the most part, unique. And even the specials are differentiated in their functionality. It's clear some effort was put into keeping them distinct from their predecessors. The same can't exactly be said for Toon Link in terms of his moveset, but his height, weight, and physics were certainly enough to keep him playing differently from Link - and lo and behold, he's back for Smash 4.

The whole argument against clones just generally doesn't hold up so well. If characters are cut, it'll most likely be for other reasons: time constraints being the big one.

Yes: It needs Ganon, Hades, and Black Shadow. Right now, it isn't that good of a roster, but my advice? My advice will take you to the top, where you belong!

I would go with the Command design, that is the closest you will get. She pretty much seems to serve that purpose well; in other words, she is the obligatory "sexy woman" character of the team.

Command is more "cartoony" if you will, so there is less of a focus on this.

I trust you; you are clearly a true fan of the character. I have no preferences as I am not really associated with Pac-Man in regards to anything other than the notion that I have played his game. I cannot even tell the difference to be perfectly truthful. So I hope that GA Pac-Man is added (if one was to be included); for his real fans, fans that aren't fans of his because he doesn't have a stereotypical personality.

Aw, thanks dude. And yeah, I've been a fan ever since I was a kid. Regardless of what Pac-Man it is, I'll always be a fan. No idea why. Pac-Man was the first game I ever played and it's my favorite game of all time and will always be.

I haven't played much Pac Man, but for the sake of fanservice I'd love to see classic AND modern Pac.

You know what? That would be absolutely perfect for Pac-Man. They're almost the exact same design, just with a few subtle but important differences, so this would require next to no effort.

They could definitely do that. Would make everyone happy. The only thing I can see that might cause problems are his eyes. The newer GA eyes are far more expressive and involve more movement than his classic eyes. But I don't know the technical details of the game in development, so I have no idea how hard this would be to cover up or remove. Here's to hoping though.

Its a want roster, so I can really add whoever I want. If that bugs you, then I guess replace him with Krystal.

Sandslash, while pretty random, is probably my favorite Pokemon of all time and I would love to see him in Smash (The choice is not realistic by any stretch.) The same applies to Goemon; would love to see him, but never will.
