Yeah I agree with this.

Honestly, why are people so adamantly dismissive of a potential 6th Mario character yet can perfectly see a 6th Pokemon character (or even 7 by some) anyway? It's just like pre-Rosalina where everyone believed in 5 Pokemon characters in the roster but where very dismissive on the idea of 5 for Mario, until Rosalina came along....

Honestly, if Pokemon where to get 6 characters, I can certainly see Mario getting 6 as well. :/

The problem I see with Bowser Jr. is how he is going to play. Since transformations are no more, I don't see how they are going to add the paintbrush moveset with him.

Jr never really had to transform, and transforming into Shadow Mario was already a pretty bad excuse for adding Paint into Jr.'s moveset.

I would add Pac-Man and Ike, delete lucina, chibi-robo, and alph, and replace krystal and Black shadow. The rest is alright.

A 6th Mario character would feel forced to me unless they are also marketing another Mario character just like with Rosalina.
I think were done with Mario choices for now.

That mostly depends on the size of the roster. No matter how you cut it, Pokemon is only getting one new moveset so far this Smash Bros. Unless the roster is big, I don't think Sakurai will focus time on another Mario newcomer. If they cut Ivy/Squirt but add Greninja/Mewtwo that's the same number of characters as Pokemon had in Brawl, whereas Mario already has an extra. That is what I see as the logic for that.

Amusingly, I did see a developing comic story (in other words, it's incomplete), focusing on Rosalina, and based on its plot, the events took place on the day that Rosalina was confirmed to be playable (long before the Smash Bros. Direct information came to pass).

Eh, wasn't keen on the idea about about him transforming anyway.
But I can't really think of ways to add the Paintbrush.
I must have the dullest imagination in the world LOL.

With Bowser jr, I always kinda imagined that they would make him use his own magic with the paint brush as well as some of the magic of the other Koopalings have done in the New Super Mario Bros games.

The Transformation isn't really needed for him if you ask me.

I'd definitely replace Chrom with Ike and replace Krystal with Snake.
I also think that you should add Ridley and have a 6th Zelda character, preferably Vaati. Should probably also cut Alph.
Other than that, I think it's fine.

As shown in the sports titles, however, Bowser Jr. can still hurl paint at opponents with his brush. Therefore, a moveset that focuses solely on Bowser Jr.'s magic paintbrush, and its ability to leave behind damaging graffiti could always be implemented.

Black will probably happen, but im still hoping for Krystal and Lucina though you are probably right.

I am pretty confident that there will be a fully evolved grass starter pokemon.

Seems like Sakurai would feel horrible if he cut a grass and water starter while keeping Charizard.

Sceptile maybe?

It's a remote possibility that Black Shadow is a newcomer, taking Ganondorf's old moveset. But a legitimately new F-Zero newcomer is nones the likely.

This is a slightly altered version of my last roster and I thought I would actually take the time to explain it this time.

No cuts.

King K Rool - He's an extremely requested character with a lot of merits, and I think the Kritters in Smash Run speak for themselves.

Ghirahim - I honesty think at this point, that if we get a Zelda newcomer, it's either Tingle or Ghirahim. He could be a really unique fighter that, even if I didn't like him, would add something to the cast.

Ridley - I'm not removing him until I see proof he's not in, dammit!

Palutena - I don't really care about her much, but she seems to be almost guaranteed.

Robin - While a lot less likely than Chrom or Lucina, I think she would also be a very unique character. In fact, I chose her specifically for that reason, and also because she perfectly represents FE Awakening.

Shulk - A lot of people want him, and he seems like the successor to Isaac in a way, except that he has a bigger chance of appearing.

Mach Rider - I never liked Takamaru, since he seems somewhat bland, especially with Greninja hanging around. Now, Mach Rider could get a complete overhaul, and it would be awesome in every way.

Nightmare - My token Namco Bandai rep. Link appeared in Soulcalibur 2...now, the debt will be repayed.

I like that this has Robin on it. That's always good. Seems a little big though...

I'll pretend you forgot Ike and R.O.B. too. No way Ike gets cut and Lucina and Chrom are both playable. Some one needs to rep Tellius (or two could *cough* Micaiah *cough*) Also how come Pikmin, F-Zero, and Mario are getting more reps, and R.O.B. gets cut? That would be removing a franchise, which would be kind of strange to do.

While there is no Micaiah, I'd be more than Ok with this roster. Why? No Pacman, a female FE rep, and Ike is in over Chrom. And while I'd rather have Mask Man over Ghirahim and Duck Hunt Dog or Donbe and Hikari over Mach Rider, I still think this is ok.
