The point is, he's the real Kawashima. He wasn't made up for the game. He's not an "alternate" Kawashima. He's just Kawashima.

Still doesn't automatically banish Kawashima into hell into being picked for consideration.

There's also the Streetpass Puzzle whom features Kawashima, there's alot more relations between the doctor and Nintendo than you think

Using a dressing curtain as a reflector and as a way to change costumes, throwing random dresses and a pair of jeans at the opponent's face to stun the opponent.
Would be fun to max.

I've already told myself that, if Ridley isn't included, I likely will only rent the game (because I'm not impressed/convinced enough to buy it at launch otherwise), but if this were the roster, I probably wouldn't even rent it or buy it later.

EDIT: In case anyone wants to jump down my throat about "NO RIDLEY NO BUY", it's more like "If Ridley's in, I will buy". Think of it this way: I'm not buying the game by default. However, if Ridley is in, that will convince me to buy the game when I otherwise would not. It's not like I'm overcoming my intense want for the game just to spite Sakurai, it's that I'm genuinely unimpressed with the game so far (besides Little Mac <3) and I don't really have a reason to buy it unless one of my favorite characters is added.

Really, I won't know who I'll main until I try everyone, though I'm obviously hoping to add King K. Rool to the list.

I only played Animal Crossing after Villager showed up, so I have no association with the franchise. I never played a Mega Man game in my childhood, so he's just some non-Nintendo guy to me (though Snake was too, so I might end up liking Rock). Miss Fit is obvious. I already didn't like Rosalina much, but her getting in felt bad because she's just some new face, I guess I'm just more inclined to retro characters. Still never played Punch-Out, and I hate sports, so Boxer McWhatsit is just some bland guy to me, he looks fun to play as though.
