You know.So you're agreeing on the noncustomization?
The way you say generic makes think y'all are too lazy to make them unique
Villager is generic because you can't edit him. That's why he has the unique moveset. You know.
Just because you can't edit them doesn't mean they're "generic".
That's like saying Villager is generic cause you can't edit him.
Exactly.Villager is generic because you can't edit him. That's why he has the unique moveset.
what if miis had a unique moveset?Villager is generic because you can't edit him. That's why he has the unique moveset.
Nope, Vaati.Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.
All of you are going to seriously eat your words.
Yes, we'll eat those "Miis can be unique through gameplay" words that we've been shouting.Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.
All of you are going to seriously eat your words.
What do you mean? I never argued they couldn't be unique.Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.
All of you are going to seriously eat your words.
This, right here. I salute you. This is the thing for me. Like, the complete point of having every other character is put into question when they could "just be a Mii" is so off-turning to me. Other than the modesty, this is my real issue with Miis. What do you mean? I never argued they couldn't be unique.
I argued that the inclusion of Miis would completely trivialize putting development time into every other character.
Because in order for them to be unique. This, right here. I salute you. This is the thing for me. Like, the complete point of having every other character is put into question when they could "just be a Mii" is so off-turning to me. Other than the modesty, this is my real issue with Miis.
Proof?Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.
All of you are going to seriously eat your words.
We're going to want to main the Mii based on a fan-made moveset? You do know your moveset won't transfer to the actual game, right?Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.

Miis are the new Subspace Emissary now. What do you mean? I never argued they couldn't be unique.
I argued that the inclusion of Miis would completely trivialize putting development time into every other character.
We'll see. We're going to want to main the Mii based on a fan-made moveset? You do know your moveset won't transfer to the actual game, right?
And for that matter while the Miis obv can and will be unique, given some of the previously-announced newcomers, it's going to be hard to have the Miis stand head and shoulders above them as far as "uniquness" goes.
Seems a little harsh here. Your moveset =/= the final one. It could be better than yours, or worse.Yeah, you guys will want to main the Mii, I already gave out a possible moveset that would be as unique as possible.
All of you are going to seriously eat your words.
Sorry, I meant to elaborate again. I was talking about how you can use Miis that are anything you want. You can have a Mario Mii with the Mii moveset and Mario. It just sounds redundant to me.Because in order for them to be unique.
They have to be every other character.
Cause that's makes sense...
I don't know, I don't think people would use the Miis designed to look like other characters and claim to be fully satisfied with that. If (for some reason) Mewtwo wasn't in the game, I don't think people would just make a Mii that looks like him and say "Yeah, we don't need Mewtwo in, I have a Mii that looks like him." Miis are designed for the purpose of putting yourself into the game, and that's what they work best for. They aren't able to capture all the elements of other possible characters, such as their abilities and, in some cases, appearances. Because of this, I don't think that their presence would render the presence of other characters completely void. This, right here. I salute you. This is the thing for me. Like, the complete point of having every other character is put into question when they could "just be a Mii" is so off-turning to me. Other than the modesty, this is my real issue with Miis.
Someone hire this man.I know it might not be, but the moveset I thought of, is about as possible and as creative you can go with the Mii.
Nah, I got the message all right.Sorry, I meant to elaborate again. I was talking about how you can use Miis that are anything you want. You can have a Mario Mii with the Mii moveset and Mario. It just sounds redundant to me.
Rosalina has a cursor gimmick too, it's her down special. Tbh that still sounds like a basic recovery move, even if the implementation is creative. We'll see.
Watch as the Mii gets dragged into recovery with the Wii Menu hand.
I'd say more Reflector than recovery.Rosalina has a cursor gimmick too, it's her down special. Tbh that still sounds like a basic recovery move, even if the implementation is creative.
Great!I know it might not be, but the moveset I thought of, is about as possible and as creative you can go with the Mii.
I don't know if you're being facetious or not, but I'm agreeing anyway.Miis are the new Subspace Emissary now.
Yeah I know, if Rosalina can use it, so can the Miis. And the way it's used for the Miis is different from Rosalina.Rosalina has a cursor gimmick too, it's her down special. Tbh that still sounds like a basic recovery move, even if the implementation is creative.
Great!
...What is it?
I made a moveset for the Miis now, I think I might main them soon enough if they use this moveset:
Here's the Mii playstyle:
Miis are unique, they can carry opponents and many things that surround them using the Wii Hand. Their moveset is based on the Wii Motion Controls that defined gaming and the equipment used in Wii Sports. Although most of their moves are fairly weak and are not able to KO an opponent, they have many unique things to use that make them fairly capable to live on the Battlefield.
Down-B: Sports Equipment Switch: The Mii switches with up to 5 sports gear to choose from to use for his Normal-B, you are able to quickly change gear, so there's no worrying about an opponent trying to get on you. There are many unique moves the Miis can choose:
Neutral-B:
Boxing Gloves: When changed into the boxing gloves, the Miis power in their punching moves is raised by x1.5. When you use the move however, gives a standard charge punch attack.
Bowling Ball: When changed into the Bowling Ball, the Miis are able roll the bowls for a projectile. Although slow, the balls have big KO potential if not dealt with.
Golf Club: When changed into the club, the Mii swings a golf club to shoot weak but abusable golf balls. You can shoot up to three at a time in the field, although the projectiles are a little slow when in the air.
Tennis Racket: When changed to the racket, the Mii is able to stun the opponent for a little while if the racket hits the opponent. Although the Mii will wear out if the move used too much.
Baseball Bat: When changed to the baseball bat, the Mii uses the baseball bat to swing out some fastballs that move in a straight line. The bat however does not hit opponents, only the baseballs. The balls have decent KO potential if aimed correctly.
Side-B: Reticle: The Mii summons a reticle that you can control circularly with the Control stick, once the B-Button is let go, the Mii will automatically throw the projectile where the target is at in a straight line. Note that it is not a homing projectile and it does not kill the opponent. If you use the reticle for moves such as the Mii's Golf Club and the Baseball Bat, it automatically home on the reticle.
Up-B: Drag: Miis summon the Wii Hand above them, the player can control the hand freely using the control stick, the maximum length you can reach the hand is about a platform distance. Once you grab the Mii with the hand, it will automatically cling the mii for you to drag. You can move them freely to any height you wish till after 2 seconds, using the hand to recover yourself slowly back to the stage. You can also grab the opponents to with your hand, and drag them at given speed. Just imagine dragging Mario, and trolling them like you have the force, it could potentially be a very fun move to use.
No offense, but that moveset seems extremely versatile and OP.Yeah I know, if Rosalina can use it, so can the Miis. And the way it's used for the Miis is different from Rosalina.
There's the sports equipment and maybe even a Wii reticle as an aiming accuracy move.
Great,I have to make a list,I'll be back in 10 minutes.@ BluePikmin11
Interesting.
Now. Where's the tilts?
No? What about aerials?
Grabs?
Smashes?
Final Smash?
Taunts?
...I think there's a few holes in your moveset...
It is lots of customization in terms of gameplay. Besides their power is weak anyways. No offense, but that moveset seems extremely versatile and OP.
...which is not good.
I was referring to BluePikmin's idea for the Mii's recovery, not Rosalina's down special. Sorry if it wasn't clearer.I'd say more Reflector than recovery.
I'm not sure if it gave her momentum.
This would take more development time than my suggested moveset. The Miis are seriously hostile territory, just one issue can cause a sea of complaints, and even more complaints of being too OP than Ridley detractors can throw out literally bombard you...regardless, I have an idea that may make it work well while being very unique. Allow me to explain...
Basically, the Mii's design effects weight, speed and power respectively. the larger the Mii, the stronger and slower, the smaller, the faster but weaker, and that's not all, that's just face value...introducing an idea of selectable sets of moves to choose from. Of course, that also adds on to how much damage you can take
There are a total of five different sets:
#1: Brawler (Up-close character with no projectiles to use, relies on up-close attacks. Can feature all sorts of things featured in all Mii games)
#2: Sniper (A distance-coverage character, but has little-to-no skill fighting up close, features many tossing weapons at different angles)
#3: Trickster (Uses traps and tricks to fight, overall strength is low but speed is decent. Out-predicting opponents is key to use this fighting style properly)
#4: Dogfighter (A character whose skill in battling comes in the air as opposed to the ground. Moves are usually used to get the opponent up in the air, good at juggling, strength and speed is average)
#5: All-Round (The balanced set of all four, having something for everyone while having no strengths but no weaknesses, recommended for beginners)
These moves can come from anything...Wii Sports, Pilotwings Resort, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Wii Party, NintendoLand, etc. This is, like the Mii, entirely up to your own decision, no creation of move-sets, but still unique all the same.
And @TumblrFamous...I'm completely fine with it, in fact, having her as an assist trophy is a hell of a lot better than just a background character. That goes to show that she's just too popular to leave out of the fight, even though it's not directly fighting. I mean c'mon, even Sakurai congratulated her appearance.
Here, let me help.I haven't really thought of the tilts and aerials, but I would imagine in order to balance the types of moves for the boxing gloves, some moves will have to involve punching.
I do like your idea. I'd probably use the sniper version. Thats not to say I would main mii though. Though, how much development time would it take is the ultimate question. The Miis are seriously hostile territory, just one issue can cause a sea of complaints, and even more complaints of being too OP than Ridley detractors can throw out literally bombard you...regardless, I have an idea that may make it work well while being very unique. Allow me to explain...

But at least now we have a consequence.Still prefer the Wii Menu Hand Drag move for a recovery, there's nothing like it at all.
I try my best!I like the Home Menu idea though.
We'll have to see for ourselves if you assume it will be broken. But at least now we have a consequence.
And it doesn't end up breaking the game (let's be real here. Having the ability to mess up your opponent with anything could end up being called "disruptive" and leading to camping and stalling. That alone could end up banning Mii).
I try my best!
