Because Wii Fit Trainer shouldn't be a reason why I would consider him B-Tier of possibility.

Yes, this is a likelihood list. I'm encompassed how much merits, hints (or leaks), and their current position to place each character carefully, I know where I'm placing them.So then why isn't Chrom down there?
(In all seriousness, I don't think that potentially/likely being a semi-clone should be that big of a knock against a character in terms of likelihood. This is a likelihood tier list, right? Not a "how much I like this or that character" tier list?)

Bandana Dee & Takamaru likely won't cause a huge uproar (Like Krystal not being in SSB4).
Kind of depends on each individual. Some of the bigger ones like Mewtwo, Ridley, and Palutena will probably cause a very nasty reaction if they aren't in, while some slightly lesser ones like Bandana Dee, Chrom, and Takamaru will probably cause a good bit of rage, but not near the levels of the first three, I think.
He would be very unique, but concerning merits and particularly Dark Dawn, I don't think he'll make it as playable.
That's basically my thinking.
