The Fairy thing won't help Jiggs get in, but they might shoehorn it in as an excuse to balance the balloon. Jiggs might just get in on nostalgia points alone, but there's no way to really tell. Though she's unique enough to stay [read: IMO], priority from Brawl being pretty unimportant now, since 6 years ago and all.

Any particular reason why Isa's higher than Saki? Although this isn't my only disagreement haha.Here's my chance chart:
I took my time with this one. C is basically semi-clone territory.
Although I personally prefer Isa over Saki, not only has Saki appeared in Smash before, Sakurai has commented on him. Saying stuff like: "he perfectly fits in with the fighters" and "there were a lot of requests for him" (most likely from Japan) and "I tried my best to include him" or something along those lines. Now, I don't know if Isa's generally more requested than Saki, but one reason I could see Sakurai choosing Isa over Saki is because of Isa potentially offering more unique gameplay (which would probably be the use of his Cannon Sword's abilities, martial arts abilities, maybe his jetpack (which is technically an anti-gravity device that lets him "fly", or so I've read)). However, it's possible that Saki can "borrow" some moves from Isa -- it's not a big stretch considering many fighters borrow moves from other characters from their source games.
I do think Saki is somewhat higher than Isa in terms of chances, but it really depends which path Sakurai wants to take. I don't think we're getting a S&P3 anytime soon, so it's hard to judge. BUT if we don't get a playable S&P character, I'd really appreciate an AT and/or a stage.

If you think about it, Isa better represents S&P IMO being the better game, and actually has more to offer than Saki. Think of it as a Ness over Ninten situation.

So on the off chance (NOT HAPPENING) that Sakurai made a "one character special exception" to a character that let them be in Smash if they didn't originate from a video game, who would it be? NOTE THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL AND I KNOW IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Oh, and I'd go with Hatsune Miku.

Except not really. S&P2 wasn't successful enough IIRC for that metaphor to work.
Keep in mind that, unlike EB0, S&P was released outside Japan. Plus, as previously noted, Saki has exposure via Brawl, whose success dwarfs both of the S&P games combined (and probably the sales of all of Treasure's games)

If I was to go outside the box, and I mean really outside the box, I'd likely go with Monstercat Media's mascot. Not like a soul here would know what that is.

Any IP Nintendo has no ownership of is a 3rd Party IP to Nintendo.

Right. 4th parties don't exist. By that logic, what's a fifth party, an IP made by aliens?
Something that's not even an IP, I guess. A real person like Jon Jafari's internet persona of JonTron is that sort of thing. Or a mascot of something unrelated to games. Like I said, even 3rds are touchy, so I don't expect a non-videogame origin IP to get in this Smash.

Real people like JonTron most likely break any sense of "Party", since legally, people can't be "owned" by anyone. The rights to USE said people in various media, however, is a different story.
It would be a lot easier for Sakurai to have Reggie be a challenger (especially since Reggie would be all for it) than to have say, Shaq for example.

Reggie's kind of in-house with Nintendo, which is why he's even possible.

It's what makes him reasonable in comparison to others, but others are still possible.
For example, provided the rights to use him in a video game haven't already been swept up by someone else, Nintendo could sign a contract with Mike Tyson to have him appear in Smash Bros. just like they did for Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. It would cost a pretty penny, but still.
Sega did this with All-Stars Racing Transformed for Danica Patrick.
As for Miis.....that wouldn't work.
Sakurai wouldn't be able to just make a Mii of say, Barack Obama as a playable character to get around getting at minimum documented consent from him to use his image in media.

Remember, Goku originated in a manga. Sakurai only uses characters who originate in a video game. Goku will never be in smash, as he is not needed.
