Good afternoon fellow Smash Bros fans. I finally managed to find the time to finish Ganondorf's purely physical moveset (Aside from magic), and is designed to be a hard-hitting physical tank with good weight, improved range, and speed matching that of Melee Ganondorf:

Ganondorf: Purely Physical Moveset:
Standard A Combo: Warlock Fists (x2, 15% total, two powerful dark-energy punches that have very good knockback for a standard Combo)

Forward + A: Reaper’s Heel (A thrusting kick forward, expelling a dark blast of energy, 16%)

Up + A: Volcano Arc (Will raise leg up into the air and bring it down quickly, letting loose a magma-like explosion upon hitting the ground, 19%)

Down + A: Thunder Fist (Will slam fist down onto the ground, releasing a burst of dark magic, knocks opponents upward, 13%)

Dash Attack: Warlock Breaker (A dashing fist attack that will deliver decent knockback, hold the attack button to slam the opponent into the ground with a grab attac, 15% for attack, 12% for grab slam)

Ledge attack: a powerful dark punch will knock opponents away. (11%)

Delayed Edge Attack: Will release a blast of dark magic (12%)

Aerial Attacks:

Neutral Air: Dark Waves (Will release a wave of dark energy to strike opponents on both sides of him, 17% total)

Forward Air: Warlock Meteor (An arcing punch downward, hits hard and has pretty good priority, the punch leaves a trail of dark magic behind it, 17%)

Up Air: Flaming Palm (Raises his arm upward fast and releases a flaming burst of dark magic, has very good knockback, 14%)

Backward + A: Bone Breaker (Turns around in mid-air and delivers a straight-forward punch that releases dark magic upon contact. 16%)

Down + A: Reaper’s Stomp (Thrusts both legs downward, delivering a powerful spike attack, 22%)

Smash Attacks:
Forward Smash: Triforce Crusher (The triforce symbol gleaming on his hand, will release a powerful Dark Magic Punch with insane knockback, a huge amount of energy exploding out of it, 35%)

Down Smash: Flaming Tremor (Will punch the ground, letting out an explosion of dark magic on both sides of him. 30%)

Up Smash: Gerudo Dragon (Will do an upward punch, his arm being engulfed in flaming dark magic as it spirals up and shoots upward, 30%)

Throws:
Grab: Grabs with one hand

Pummel: Knees the opponent (4%)

Front Throw: Will charge his fist with dark magic and slam his opponent into the floor, releasing a burst of energy upon contact (11%)

Up Throw: Will raise the opponent up and shock them with magic, which will knock the opponent upward (10%)

Down Throw: Will throw the opponent on the ground and stomp on them with a dark-energy charged foot (12%)

Back Throw: Will toss the opponent backwards, hitting them with a dead Man’s volley (11%)
Special Moves:
Standard B: Dark Magic (A charge special with three different charge states, the first being a ball of energy similar to the Dead Man’s volley from Ocarina of Time, the second will release two balls, and the third will release waves of energy to travel across the screen, similar to the waves of magic from Ocarina of Time, 15-30% total)

Side + B: Flame Choke (Working the same as in Brawl, Ganondorf will grip the opponent by the neck and release a burst of dark magic, making them fall to the ground. If used in the air, Ganondorf will slam the opponent into the ground face-first. 15%)

Up + B: Gerudo Rocket (Will charge up his fist with dark energy, then leaping up into the air in a spiraling leap, surrounded by dark magic. At the end of the recovery, will slam his fist down in a meteor smash-like attack to spike opponents caught in the attack. 20% total)

Down + B: Earthquake Fist (An area effect attack, Ganondorf will punch the ground and release a shock-wave along the ground. This attack will do more damage depending on how close you are and how long you charge the attack for. 14-28% total)

Final Smash: Beast Ganon (Retaining his final smash from Brawl, Ganondorf transforms into Beast Ganon and rushes across the screen, knocking opponents away with extreme knockback. Ganondorf will revert back to normal at the end of the attack. Stun state + 50%)

Extra Details:
Color Scheme:
#1: Twilight Princess Ganondorf Color Scheme

#2: Old Man Ganondorf Color Scheme (Same as Twilight Princess but with white hair and beard)

#3: Blue-highlighted TP Outfit

#4: Green-highlighted TP Outfit

I think he's now officially "Akumadorf", aside from launching Gohadokens and performing the Shin Goku Satsu. :p

Im just wondering, with palutena pretty much a given, what would krystals unique aspect (staff/magic) have over her? Most of what ive seen has been centered around her staff, while palutena would have that and a shield already. Not to say they couldnt be completely different, but i cant see them seeing her as a huge priority in that case, if that is indeed her main draw. I guess the same could be said for swordsmen, but eh it just feels different in this case to me.
I just have one question.
Is Palutena's shield "mighty", as one would say?

Wow, I'm gone for an hour, and got back on to notice how you guys blew up the argument about Krystal without me. Let alone some talk about a second Sonic character, which I haven't talked about in a while.

@ JamesDNaux JamesDNaux is probably right about Sonic characters, but Nintendo buying out SEGA could happen. I've seen some talk about the possibility of them already doing it, but I'll believe it when or if it becomes official. I'm not solely bent on Krystal and another Sonic player though. I also support Palutena and Chrom.

Krystal wields a staff, Palutena has more of a scepter, one wouldn't really swing a scepter around while a staff is made for melee combat. Palutena would certainly be more magic oriented while Krystal would rely on swinging a stick around with the magic being relegated to just the specials.

Yea, I can't see Palutena swinging giant scepter quickly, but rather magic coming out of it.
Slow but with great range.
And Krystal as the exact opposite. Almost no range, but very quick. Faster than the other 3 Starfox characters.

Okay, let me ask. Why people still insist in Pac-man even after Sakurai stated that Namco does not get special treatment?
Even if they don't get special treatment, Pac-Man still isn't entirely out of the ballpark. Plus, he's the most famous gaming character of all time next to Mario, and would certainly generate sales with his appearance (I hope!)

Snake I'm not so sure about. There's always the chance that Sakurai creates DLC for the two, but Pac-Man has a much higher chance than Snake at this point.

This is pretty cool, as much as I wasn't too good with Ganondorf in Brawl, I honestly thought he'd be given a sword.

Nice quote from Noah here. Sometimes the person in the minority can have correct views while those with the popular opinion are misguided. I know that feeling, myself being a sort of.... what's the word? I'm a bit embarrassed to say it, but I forgot.
It's not exactly "pariah", but it means something like "someone who doesn't follow with the views of a church or religion".
The point though is that in a setting of debate in a speculation forum, as compared to just being a freelance comment section in Miiverse, people will follow reasoning. I won't say there aren't any sheep here whatsoever, but a very good chunk of the folks here have a mind and will of their own. That said, numbers in an argument actually holds weight in that the argument had to present itself as the more correct choice in the first place.

Have you ever been in a debate class in High School? If you have one guy making an argument that ignores or tunnel-visions counterarguments, dismisses the other perspective as "stupid" without even breaking down to his opposition why it's stupid, and uses all of this to prove a point that nobody agrees with, then that doesn't make him the one genius in a crowd of sheep. That just makes him the guy who can't articulate his ideas and loses the argument in the result, considering an argument is effectively lost if nobody's perspective has changed. For all we know, maybe he's right. That doesn't change the fact that he's using his perspective as a substitute for a feeling of superiority rather than as a platform for reasoning something out.

We're not a religion. We're a bunch of nerds sitting at computers arguing and reasoning out things that will make it into a video game. If Noah can't argue his points well enough to gain support, that's honestly his burden, not ours.

That makes sense, i guess just personally i cant see her bringing much to the table, especially when id see her as one of those characters thats purely a rep for rep's sake. She still has a chance certainly, but i think more than anything sakurai should focus on the star fox characters we had from brawl, they need help more than they need another mouth to feed.

New Prediction Roster, if you would like to read :) :

Newcomers:

I felt like these are going to be the newcomers were going to get, all of them have their merits, each with their own unique moveset to distinguish them. Dixie is only filler and I personally think she'll be the first semi-clone implemented when time comes to a close.

Cuts:
Snake and Jigglypuff.

Cutting Jiggs for Zoroark is basically cutting an insignificant character for an insignificant character.
The main difference is that Jigglypuff is actually more significant at the moment.

Hmm...well, as far as predictions go...

I'm not opposed to Kawashima, but implementation of his character in SSB would be tricky. While some potentially "tricky to make" characters are worth the effort, I don't believe Kawashima is one of them; personal opinion, that.

I have an inclination to think that there won't be a second Animal Crossing character.

Prince Sable and Layton are fine, but I don't think either are so likely that you can blanket them in the term, "I felt like these are going to be the newcomers were going to get." Sable is a cool surprising retro and Layton is a fine 3rd party, but they have plenty of competition.

If any veteran was going to get cut, why Jigglypuff? A unique character who is veteran from the first SSB? I find that very doubtful; if Jigglypuff hasn't been cut before, I don't see why that would change now.

I also still fancy the return of Snake, but that's enough of a controversy that I won't bug you about it.

OK, valid point, but why everyone is already predicting DLC characters?

Cutting Jigglypuff is the only gripe I have with the roster. I'm not too sure about Tom Nook and Layton, but they are good additions that I won't complain about.

I'll disregard Sable and Kawashima as I know you won't remove them from your roster. :p

[collapse=Sehnsucht's Responses]
-Is Animal Crossing truly deserving of two Newcomers in one sitting? What does Nook bring to the table that Villager doesn't already, and what are his merits for inclusion?

-I know zero things about Kawashima. If you wouldn't mind, perhaps you could outline his case also.

-Zoroark for Jigglypuff? From a purely personal standpoint, I have Original 12 nostalgia, so I wouldn't want to cut Jiggs even though I never play with him(/her). I'm sure that Zororark has multiple merits in their own right, but what about probability of inclusion, and the likelihood that Zororark might indeed replace Jiggs? Would Sakurai view Zororark as being so desirable that he'd be willing to cut Jigglypuff?

-Why settle for semi-clone Dixie as later-stage padding when you can have King K Rool? I would imagine that a DK Newcomer would have more priority compared to other picks, but perhaps you have more to say on this.

-In line with the above point, any reason you've included Palutena and Mewtwo, but have foregone K Rool and Ridley? The latter has a lot of demand in the West, and K Rool has a lot on a global scale. In order to please the fanbase, Sakurai will of course need to include generally worthy characters and a few unexpected picks, but he'd be wise to include characters that have substantial and notable popularity and demand.

-I assume you've cut Snake and included Layton is because the latter has more ties and relevance to Nintendo than Metal Gear does. Which is certainly true. As an MGS fan, I'd rather not see him cut. Though Third-Party inclusions are supposed to be special cases, comprising of gaming titans and so forth. Can Layton compare to the likes of Sonic and Mega Man, or is Layton's inclusion to be based on a metric other than legendary gaming icons?

-I have no qualms with Pac-Man, Mii, Palutena, Sable, Shulk, or Takamaru. Shulk and Sable strike me as the least probable of this bunch. Takamaru seems poised to be the Retro Revival pick; is Sable meant to be a second Retro?

-With all of the above said, I certainly think all of your other picks are at least deserving of Assist Trophy status (with Zororark as a Pokeball). As for Layton, we're not getting Third-Party ATs, so he's either playable or he's not in the game at all.
[/collapse]

Hope this suffices as a thorough analysis. :)

It's nice to see prediction rosters again, felt like ages since anybody's done one. I think I'm done with the prediction rosters for the time being, but the least thing I did was make a top 10 wanted newcomers:

I know they're not all likely, but I have my reasoning for all of them. Regardless, it's all opinion and should be taken as such, although I do very well see some of these happening.

Like I said, I found the 15 newcomers (besides Dixie), to be the most diverse newcomers Sakurai could choose having at least relatively good merits. Zoroark at least the merits to get in, and really has his uniqueness of illusions going for him despite him being an insignificant character for Pokemon.

Cutting Jigglypuff is the only gripe I have with the roster. I'm not too sure about Tom Nook and Layton, but they are good additions that I won't complain about.I'll disregard Sable and Kawashima as I know you won't remove them from your roster.
I'm not going to remove Kawashima because I see his uniqueness as too good for Sakurai to pass out. As for Sable, setting aside bias, I see him as the second retro Sakurai chooses for revival, seeing as we haven't had a retro character from the popular (but underlooked in Smash speculation for some reason) Gameboy and how these installments are also focused on handhelds, I could see him picking Sable with his unique transformation mechanics.

Dr. Kawashima most likely ain't happening and I don't know why on earth anyone would ever put him in a prediction list, Tom Nook almost certainly ain't happening as a second, non-clone Animal Crossing character within Smash 4 and isn't nearly important enough to likely be so and Professor Layton isn't legendary enough of a third party inclusion to be believable. Zoroark has nothing going for her recently. Even Jigglypuff has more "relevancy" than Zoroark considering her new Fairy typing and considering how much easier she is to implement than Zoroark, combined with the fact that Zoroark is outmatched in competition with Metwtwo and Zoroark doesn't really have an real reason to be seen as likely.

In other words, Dr. Kawashima alone makes your prediction roster seem more like a wishlist than anything substantial.

I saw WarioWare character discussion.

I'd say the franchise can certainly handle another character, I mean it's really two franchises in one.
I believe it would be best to add in, say... Mona. We can have her primarily WarioWare focused and have Wario be primarily Wario Land focused. I'd imagine Wario to still have a good amount of moves return from Brawl, but more nods to Wario Land is always welcome.
New Prediction Roster

Newcomers:

I felt like these are going to be the newcomers were going to get, all of them have their merits, each with their own unique moveset to distinguish them. Dixie is only filler and I personally think she'll be the first semi-clone implemented when time comes to a close.

Cuts:
Snake and Jigglypuff.
[collapse="Le AEM's Responses"] • 45 Characters is good.
Snake being cut is understandable. I personally believe he may return, but no qualms here.
Jigglypuff being cut is much harder to swallow, especially if it's for Zoroark. Now I'd understand a bit more if this was for Mewtwo, but you've essentially swapped a Smash staple for a failed marketing attempt. I don't see this happening, as much as I personally like Zoroark.
Pac-Man and Layton makes sense with their own reasons, but three new third-parties making it in the same game? Seems like a bit too much to me, even if it's too good to be true...
A Mii is looking more likely as these updates go by, with three stages already under their belt. Not to mention that they are the perfect candidate for the previously mentioned "3DS Customizable Character".
Palutena was leaked #teamreal
Kawashima will not be playable. Please stop kidding yourself, Assist Trophy is the more likely and generally preferred situation.
Nook's got a chance, but I'm really doubting him this time around. Maybe next Smash?
Dixie Kong is fine, her or K. Rool get the same amount of points from me.
Sablé may not be my cup of tea, but I do believe that a Gameboy Rep may be the next route Sakurai will take for a Retro character. But while Muddy Mole is my preferred choice, I suppose Sablé is fine too. I just personally don't see what makes him that special.
Gonna round up Shulk and Takamaru and say that they're both nice and likely choices.
No Ridley tho

OVERALL: It's an interesting roster and I do have to commend you for continuing to make these types of rosters, because I do like to see an oddball everyone now and then. But this roster is filled with them and I think that there are two changes that are necessary for this roster:
1. Please consider replacing Kawashima.
2. Please consider bring back Jigglypuff over Zoroark.

[/collapse]
Thanks for sharing your roster BluePikmin, it's always interesting to analyze yours.
You could consider Palutena's banging bod as a mighty need.

Now I wish Ike was revealed so the relevancy arguments can be put to rest. :urg:
It might help Zoroark in the long run.
It will help VETERANS that are not relevant.
Lucario already does that to an extent.

I would love another Wario character. Given the game's zany cast there are so many great options.
Mona and Jimmy T stand out though.

To be fair, Ike did get a little nod in Awakening in the form of Priam. And then there's the "Smash Brethren" DLC.

Zoroark didn't even get a Mega-Evolution.

Like I said, I found the 15 newcomers (besides Dixie), to be the most diverse newcomers Sakurai could choose having at least relatively good merits. Zoroark at least the merits to get in, and really has his uniqueness of illusions going for him despite him being an insignificant character for Pokemon.

I'm noticing that you seem to be very fond of the uniqueness argument. While being unique is great and all, that alone can't get a character into the roster. Sure, Kawashima could be unique, but so could a ton of other characters. Zoroark has plenty of unique potential, but why on earth would they cut Jigglypuff for it? Jigglypuff herself is already very unique in her own right, not to mention the fact that she's an original game veteran, and has even more relevance now then she did in Brawl days with that Fairy typing of hers. Honestly, it kind of bothers me that you outright say that Zoroark is insignificant to Pokemon as a whole, but say that his uniqueness alone is enough to not only get on the roster, but replace a long time veteran. Really, I just don't think that pure uniqueness, and uniqueness alone, can make a character worthy of the title of Nintendo All-Star.

A problem I have with Sable transforming is that with transforming characters in the past they would turn into iconic characters. With Sable he would just turn into generic frog and generic snake.
