Dude this is still a discussion thread. You can at least state reasons why.
I don't think he will in general due to not expecting 3rd Party DLC.

All the possible reasons are usually disregarded, so I don't see the point.

Let's just say it's my "intuition".

What Music Tracks should we have from Metal Gear if Snake returns?
Snake Eater is a must as is Encounter.

If Snake gets in I wonder if we will get a new Metal Gear stage so we can have an updated Codex. I can just imagine how funny the ones about ,, and would get. Maybe even the one about as well (His worst nightmare came true. He was worried about Ness reading his mind, now he has to be worried about Shulk changing the future.).

Newcomer DLC trailers will/can have some level of CGI to them like the main newcomers.

Actually, Ryu's trailer didn't have CGI. It was just his fighter model in the first part iirc.
It was pretty fancy though.
Keep in mind Pac-Man didn't have CGI in his trailer either, so for future newcomers it's possible we'll get a super fancy trailer.

1) Didn't know that it was just his normal model.
2) Forgot about Pac-Man's really just having the 3 lines and his mouth opening for "CGI."
3) What I mean is that Ryu's trailer at least had more of that cinematic edge than 's DLC trailers. Around the level of say or 's. It leaves me far more hopeful than what we had for DLC character trailers previously.

Okay guys and gals and smashers of all ages, I'm going to start doing an experiment in here to get a feel for people's opinions on various popular poll characters.

I'm going to post an image of a character and I want you to type the first word that comes to your mind

Lets start off with someone simple

The one thing that I don't get is when Snake detractors will say, "He's not Nintendo enough".

Really? Because he's not Nintendo enough, the people who liked playing as him are **** out of luck?

I mean sure, sometimes there are significant reasons against a character. But collaboration is better than competition, people. If the fans work together, big things can happen. Don't poop on my character just because you don't want them.

The "not Nintendo enough" is a flimsy excuse with no logical basis. The fact that he was even able to get into Smash to begin with should disprove this notion.

It really would be nice if Snake came back. Regardless of current likeliness, he was a great addition to Smash, and it's a shame that he didn't make the cut this time around.

"Not Nintendo enough" is a john; "actually has no connection to Nintendo whatsoever" is an issue.

If Sackboy was a gaming god like the Big Five, it'd be a different matter.

I think Spyro, Lara Croft and Crash Bandicoot are gaming icons as well. Shame they didn't appear in Playstation All Stars, it would of felt a better fit.
