i genually want to know do you guys really believe that we are getting both k rool and isaac as DLC.I can see 1 but i can't see both.

K. Rool ain't happening. People are seriously overestimating their voting power. And Isaac...not super sure on him. His franchise is pretty dead. Its gonna take a lot for him to make it to Smash 4.

We don't have ballot results.Just going off all the fan polls we have had.I imagine almost all characters(that are important anyway) are the 500-1,000 not sure where i got 2,000 gonna need to fix that

I don't dislike K. Rool. I just think people are seriously overstating his popularity.
And honestly anyone is fair game after Ryu. Sakurai is a really unpredictable man.

Ryu is fighting games... That's not an unpredictable choice at all, that makes sense.

Sakurai never said no fighting game characters actually. It's a misquote.

And I don't know. But at the same time how do you know he isnt?

So you're simultaneously claiming that anything is possible while absolutely denying the possibility that K. Rool, likely the single most popular candidate for DLC, could make it in?

Maybe that's because you storm in here acting like you know whats what and expect people to just take it as is, especially without any arguments as to why you might think 'K Rool isn't happening'...if you do have any arguments besides 'How do you know he really is leading the Ballot' or 'Everyone is overestimating his chances'...then we will listen and discuss...

Sakurai is a hard man to read, yes, but the whole purpose of DLC and the fan ballot is to give us a voice, and he more often than not listens, such is the case for characters like Sonic, Megaman, Little Mac, etc...Ryu was what we call 'pre-ballot' DLC which means his inclusion had no bearing on whatever support he may have in the ballot and was possibly chosen even before the announcement of the Smash Ballot, or even DLC...it is illogical comparing him to any ballot contender since the ballot isn't even over yet...

We do not have any results of the Ballot thus far, but K Rool has consistent support throughout the web...His Support thread here is the most active, he rarely places outside of top 3 in most fan polls, most Youtube videos talking about their most wanted will mention K Rool as an honourable mention at the very least if not in their top 10, not too mention the fact that he's been widely requested for years, long enough to rival Ridley, he also doesn't have the same limitations that Ridley has...
Going off of this shows us that he likely has a lot of fan support not to mention a lot of people who are voting for him on the Ballot...consistency is the key word here, and his support is consistent almost anywhere you look...

Never, I've mained Ness since 64 and I only add more with each game.


Snake was one of my mains in Brawl as well, so if he came back then I'd obviously main him again.

If Rayman got in, he'd be my "main" main.

I'd never play anyone but Banjo if he got in.

Paper Mario and I won't even regret letting G&W as second.

Seriously, I can guarantee you that as long as he feels true to the character, I would drop my main, seriously consider playing smash a lot more frequently and possibly try to be a good paper mario main. I would love him THAT much....

No, Link will always be my number 1 no matter what...ZSS is also looking like a solid character I will probably always play with *giggity*....but I said the same about Falco previously, sooo....

but if WL&M becomes a thing they would undoubtedly become one of my top characters, just thinking of this possible tag team and what potential they may have gets me excited....the other characters I support are mainly based on principle, but if they feel decent enough then maybe...perhaps I'd main them just off of sheer hype for having them in ...

I honestly hope we get them as DLC even if they're super-recent because Splatoon is just that amazing. Gah, I wish I knew if Sakurai has plans for them beyond Mii costumes ;_;

My personal preference is to have a rotation of mains rather than just one. K. Rool would round out a heavyweight quartet with Bowser, DK and Dedede. Apart from that, I'd play as him exclusively for a while, just to gain playstyle familiarity on the level I have with the other three, but I wouldn't stop playing as the others either.

Golden's post had me thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to have a competitive player who co-mained Wario and Waluigi?

I'll pass on the Inks until Smash 5 personally.

Depending on how Isaac would play, I could potentially drop Shulk as my secondary for him. Roy will unquestionably be my main for this game and I won't drop him for anyone.

In For Glory, I alternate between the heavies and heavy hitters. But I will try to play as others every once and awhile. Purple-haired Bowser for me!

It's confirmed all that's left is Ballot characters. My money goes to K.Rool as a lock with Wolf not far behind. After that, who knows? Maybe Issac, maybe Shantae/Quote as an indie rep, maybe even Banjo. Don't expect Banjo.

I might drop Mewtwo for King K. Rool. Naw yeah, I would especially if he's a better Dedede who I also use a lot. though I'd probably include him in the rotation with Pac-man along with the other two. Man I love Mewtwo. Too bad there aren't a lot of purple characters in the game.

idk i don't shantae or shovel knight fans are as annoying.They atleast realize they characters have little change but support them anyway.And don't blindly worship them or put them on the same level as pacman or sonic in terms of being iconic
