Our following "Ballot" DLC consists of (3 to) 5 of newcomers present, most likely: King K. Rool, Isaac, Inklings, Bandana Dee, & Dixie Kong.

What about Krystal? I'd put her above Dixie in likeliness, maybe even BDee on a good day. Otherwise realistic expectations.

I don't have a dream roster for Smash 5 yet because I think it's way too early to do so. Unless that new Nintendo NX console/smart phone/whateverthehellthatthingis comes out in 2 years and Smash 5 is announced as a launch title, I don't think now's the time to determine who will all be playable. We also don't even know how many new characters will be introduced in upcoming installments for franchises like Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Chronicles, Pokemon, or any other franchise between now and the next game.

Honestly our best bet is to predict what the final FINAL roster will look like once Sm4sh DLC stops being a thing.

Everyone over-analyzes Sakurai. I cannot think of a statement he hasn't backpeddled on at least a little bit.
Come Smash NX I'm sure we'll see Ridley, Goku, and a gun-toting character.

I personally think it's far more likely we get 2 DKC characters as DLC than we're getting 2 DLC StarFox characters unless Krystal becomes significantly important again in StarFox Wii U.

Then, I would proceed and give you the loving you could best describe as 50 Shades of Grey, with a little hardcore porno added into the mix.

This sounds like the worst harlequin romance I've ever seen. It'd probably sell really well and get a movie franchise deal in today's day and age.

On topic:
Honestly looking back at the Wii era there's not that many Nintendo characters that made a big splash for me. Presuming no one from the Wii U gen gets added as DLC, 5mash sounds like it'd have the majority of my sigged characters sorted.

(Captain) Toad? Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, SM3D World. a Toad's biggest starring role to date.
Impa? Hyrule Warriors gave her a HUGE popularity boost and a badass fighting style. Won me over.
Dixie Kong? Glorious return in Tropical Freeze where she's by far the best teammate.
Bandana (Waddle) Dee? Starring role in Rainbow Curse as every multiplayer character.
Inklings? Well, obviously. They only just debuted.

It may be a little premature, but I've got high hopes for 5mash's roster even if Sm4sh DLC fails to meet my hopes and dreams.

The most important rule when discussing with BluePikmin11:

1. Do not assume I think a situation or character is likely to happen until I say it clearly that it's going to happen.

I don't think the chances of all veterans returning are huge, but based on Sakurai's comment on cutting characters, there's a good shot of it happening, not huge, but just a good shot. Please do not mistaken that I think a situation is likely just because I happen to discuss an unpopular character.

Well, no one can please everyone.
I think the inclusion of essentially every major fan favorite character (Toad, K. Rool, Dixie, Ganon, Tingle, Mewtwo, Ridley, Mac, Ray, Andy, Isaac, Lip etc.) would make most happy.

1: People would want Falco regaurdless if he was in Melee.
2: Ganon and Ganondorf have the same amount of importance because they are the same entity. Which is exactly what you can say for some. .
