When I say 'MM inspired moveset' I mean YLink uses the non transformation masks, UpB is bunny hood, down b blast mask, etc

I was meaning off the grounds that 90% of MM Yink ideas go, a Pokemon Trainer styled move set going through the 4 main forms with Fierce Deity as a final smash. Kudos for being original.

Sonic was the last character in be planned... But he has priority over the other 3 in mid-development because fan request.

It's a possibility but here we are, anyways. Mewtwo and Roy are coming back and many now wait for Wolf to return.

Meh, I don't really have a reason, to put in simple terms, he's probably going to have a mix of unpopular and popular newcomers again just like what he did with Melee, Brawl, and Smash 4.
It seems to going that direction with the previously non-requested Ryu being added in the roster.

The difference being you can get away with unpopular picks on the main roster because it's a package deal, but when you're selling characters on an individual basis you need to go with what will sell, and then choosing unpopular characters is deliberately counterproductive.

You need to stop looking at things through the lens of how "your" characters will get in and just through what's actually likely and what's not if you want to make actual predictions that have more of a basis than pure hope, because the former has been filled with fallacies in your reasoning.

Also, there is a difference between unexpected and unpopular.

Only like Isaac and K.Rool, B&K would be damaging to Nintendo because competition, IC aren't happening any time sooner, Snake is stuck in a pachinko machine and people never really wanted Chorus kids but started bandwagoning on the Gematsu leak, all support after that is because they were on a leak

I still think Primid would be a cool idea. Its moveset is pretty much written for it. The only reason not to is that it never got popular, and for some reason people hated the Subspace Emissary.

And a personality, an important role and popularity.

What is it with the Subspace Emissary hate anyway? You got to see the characters interact with each other. It was and awesome story. The only thing I have against it is that Wolf, Toon Link, and Jigglypuff were completely left out.

Banjo and the Ice Climbers are really unlikely to me, Chorus Kids too.
I'm not sure about Snake honestly, but he is very popular and a veteran so I wouldn't be surprised if he returns.

And if we ignore the likely/unlikely thing, I personally don't like it, a DLC roster without Bandana Dee, Ridley, Magolor, Bomberman or Pichu is a bad DLC roster for me.

1: Unless everyone was sped up, Ganondorf was NOT as fast as Sonic.
2: That shouldn't matter if it's worth the wait
3: It didn't make you play the game twice.
4: Like pretty much no references to other games other than the Light World and Dark World, and Giant R.O.B., or no areas that stood out to you?

I think RH and Splatoon are going to be held until next time for playable representation.

Depends on popularity. While we who beat the beat have mostly trickled out of support to only those who have diehard ties to a character, Splatoon is still growing with every extra bit of the game we see. Sakurai can always say "the costumes are enough to hold them over until next time," or something but I feel like they hold a strong amount of popularity as a newcomer. I mean... we can be hopeful to be the kind of "major innovation in a genre" game that gets a character like &. But nonetheless, Splatoon seems like it's going to be a massive hit on WiiU that will get a sequel or two between Smash 5 and will hopefully hold enough star power to last til Smash 5.

Everyone had the same speed
People didn't enjoy SSE as a whole and would have preferred more characters
GREAT ****ING MAZE literally makes you play aaaaall over again
In melee adventure mode, you could tell where the stage came from, SSE however, you could not other than Skyworld and the Halberd

I'd be very happy with this, all that would be missing from smash is ridley, to bad this roster will sadly never happen.

Yes, that is assuming Splatoon does well enough to expand before the next Smash game, but I think that's a relatively safe bet at this point.

And they might be popular now, but the next game is still going to need some big draws as well, and since they're likely going to play the whole recency game again, Inkling is better off being a headliner of Smash 5 than a bonus for Smash 4. Maybe not for us, but for Nintendo.

Here's the problem with DLC predictions: The ballot is based on fan demand and the only characters we know for sure are highly requested are K.Rool, Isaac and Shovel Knight, and even then, Sakurai still gets to decide if they get in or not, if he doesn't want to make the top 50 choices playable then he won't, if he sees a character that's barely requested at all but is more appealing to Sakurai than the top 5 then chances are Sakurai will work on that

I think I'm the only one who thinks the Splatoon Miis hurt Inkling's chances, I know about the Link and Meta Knight costumes, but they look nothing like the originals, the Splatoon Miis are really similar to the Inklings, the only weird thing are the eyes, but I doubt you will be able to see that when playing a match.
