That's my Two Cents on any character (if you add my additional incentive... they are better, easier, or more suited for a game than all other potential newcomers). My Two Cents:
Taking a note from @ Johnknight1 and literally saying that as long as they don't make it a clone or a lazy cop out character, I'm fine with anything.
In other words she's like the 40th most important character in the Fire Emblem universe, and Sakurai and co. only care about the top 5.Anna has somewhat of a chance, the merchant has been noticably more prominent in FE while taking charge of the DLC, so IS may suggest Anna so she can become the true star of Fire Emblem.
Nobody will buy the game just for Anna. Meanwhile, there's probably several non-Fire Emblem fans and Fire Emblem fans alike who bought the game for Ike, because he's such a draw, and because he's the driving force of good in 2 Fire Emblem games.
Because she's still a minor character. The only "major" characters are some villains and (almost exclusively) the Lords in Fire Emblem. That's it.Why so? Is there really absolutely no chance? There is a lot she not only could, but would add if she was put in. Explain yourself! I would also argue that Anna is no longer a 'minor' character.
Also, you don't see us playing a minor Mario character like the bomb mouse guy from Mario 2 or King Bomb-Omb from Mario 64, or in Zelda the Happy Mask Salesman or like Nico from Tetra's crew. You just don't. Only in Fire Emblem among the few (and I mean very few) super intense fans do you see anyone care to "push" for the minor characters.
Eh, he was something of that, but his kind of "power" is more... well, kept to just Smash attacks. He's also got a lot of Mario in him, which means speedy attacks. What about this guy?
Sure he wasn't done entirely right in Brawl (pertaining to this archetype at least), but his whole character revolves around the short and stout strong man.
Still, if Wario was more Wario Land-esk (Wario Land Wario > Wario Ware Wario), he would be better. Dat Project M Shoulder Bash is proof enough.
Or, it used to.
It's true that could work, but again, there's 3 problems in that case:I see Dixie/Kiddy (or even Diddy/Dixie) working more along the lines of a literal tag-team. You control one, the other follows. You attack with the lead, the following Kong tags in and attacks, and vice-versa. This is judging by what is translated about what Sakurai said in regards to his initial idea.
Sort of like Sonic & Tails in Sonic 4 Episode 2.
1. Why wouldn't the teammate attack with you=??? (otherwise it's essentially a "transformation")
2. What happens when one dies and the other is alive=???
3. Wouldn't it just be less time consuming and easier to balance to separate them=???
