That's what I tough, but I don't know, I heard that the Ghirahim heme was based on the main theme.

Problem is, if it is the main theme, it's not specific if you consider as a zelda theme. It doesn't matter if she's confirmed because the tease should be specific enough to not doubt.

Ridley is his theme, just that settles it. I can't doubt the relation.

Robin is very specific as like I don't even consider being someone else.

Palutena is too obvious.

But here? That's so weird.

Seriously, it's a riddle game now. Trying to find which character that ONLY HIM has a unique relation to Fi AND ballad of goddess.

I'll have to think about it, but for now, it's a zelda newcomer as placeholder.

If you really want to make a stretch, you could say that the Ballad of the Goddess is a slight hint towards Impa, since the Ballad of the Goddess is really Zelda's Lullaby backwards, and Impa is the one who originally teaches you that melody in Ocarina of Time.

Actually, I just tough about it, but what does King Kihunter has to do with Ridley? His theme tells the relation, but if he has nothing with Ridley, it means that you may be right if there's no relation on Fi (this means that I would not have to see Fi to even tell the tease which honestly, seems to not make sense).

Since he already seems to be heading that direction at the moment, I'd have Ridley be the stage boss.
If not playable already, Shulk would make a good Assist Trophy.
For the Legend of Zelda character, I'd have Tetra be playable.

I'm not familiar with Metroid, but I don't know of any relation between King Kihunter and Ridley.

As for Fi, she's basically the spirit of the Master Sword, and isn't directly related to anyone other than Link himself. One thing worth mentioning, though, is that Ghirahim is also a sort of sword spirit like Fi; he's essentially a dark counterpart of Fi. That's about it, though.

No one (sane) predicts a reveal during the Direct, no one aside from Mii.

I can't imagine Ghirahim doing anything special in comparison to the other newcomers though. He can teleport, he can throw diamonds, and he can use a sword. None of that screams "unique" to me.

Then your only other real options to go with from Skyward Sword are Impa and Demise.
Now sure, Hyrule Warriors really changes how Impa could work, but I highly doubt it will have any impact on this Smash. So I figure she could work as a Sheik alt at best, maybe she could end up being a Sheik clone (the delicious irony).
Demise is basically Ganondorf, and there's no way Ganondorf is going anywhere. If anything Demise will probably have some sort of impact on his design and/or moveset, but Demise himself will probably be a trophy.

I can only think of Groose for anyone else from Skyward Sword, but Groose is Groose.

Villains Trailer. If Ganondorf gets announced at any point, I'd say a Villains Trailer.

Now, barring that, its POSSIBLE he'll get a website update to promote Hyrule Warriors. Either way, I think Ganondorf will be the next veteran revealed hands-down.

Sakurai never worked on a game featuring them nor are they his creation, so obviously they have no chance

I am not well-versed on either of those characters, I am not even sure who Claus is to be honest. I am not sure if Daisy does anything inherently different from Peach, I suppose she could use yellow flowers instead of pink hearts for her up-tilt and whatnot. Regardless, Dark Pit is a character that I am more familiar with, I can discern the subtle differences and there were multiple allusions to him in a Smash context, unlike Daisy or Claus (unless I missed something).

To add to this, there has been a very obvious Daisy "alt" in Smash since Melee. It's not like they're trying to hide that the palette swap is really just supposed to look like Daisy.

Dark Pit and Daisy both will probably be alts this time. Daisy has had a subtle alt in past games, but they might as well go the whole way this time around.
