Wow. WOW. This was...wow. I'm not big on Fire Emblem, but I know everyone and their mom wanted Robin and Lucina. What a nice surprise. Congrats, Fire Emblem fans.

The way the trailer looked is Chrom is a FS. Robin shouted Chrom right before the flurry of attacks.

Lucina seems to have very similar moves to Marth. Could be alt costume. Could be semi clone. Cant really tell until we see CSS

I was sort of disappointed for all of 10 seconds when Chrom was de-confirmed. I like his design and had come to basically accept he would be in the game however I'm more than happy with Robin and Lucina.

Robin looks genuinely interesting though I'd wish they'd given out more information on how his/her moveset works. Now we know move customisation is a thing I'm unsure as to how the spells work. While I appreciate the effort that's gone into move customisation, I'm going to be playing with the default movesets both online and in local multilayer for the majority of the time.

Lucina looks a bit clone-y for me at the moment but it's early days. Hope we get to see more of her in pics of the day in the coming weeks.

It seems pretty clear to me that Lucina's an alt; but unlike other alts where it's just a different gender or something, she's being treated as Marth's equal. This is the first time we got an alt that was a new character, and her moves were the exact same as Marth's, with the same weight and speed.

Chrom isn't a character, he's part of Robin's Final Smash. He's not on the website, and the cinematic part of his in-game appearance and Robin calling out for him heavily suggests that's just what he is.

Lucina is still a question mark. Either a last minute clone or an alt costume.

What does this mean for Sakurai's comment where he said "we're approaching the bottom of the barrel for newcomer trailers" or something along those lines? Was that a red herring? Is there really only a few newcomers left? Or does he mean there's only one or two trailers, but the rest will be secret newcomers? Before I thought that statement meant there was only going to be trailers for Chrom, Shulk and Glee Club, but now I'm not so sure. So many questions...

Anyways, this reveal made me more positive for non-gematsu Characters. K. Rool, RIdley, Takamaru even Paper Mario all seem more likely now. This also makes me more faithful in Mewtwo, even though I never doubted him.

I'm just really hyped right now. The way Captain Falcon smiled in that trailer... Glorious.

It's outdated, but we knew that ever since Sakurai said that Greninja's slot was originally a placeholder for an X/Y Pokemon.

I still think we'll get Shulk and a Rhythm Heaven rep.

I really dont think you can accurately tell if she has the same weight and speed from that small video.

Not completely, but it puts me at least 90% certain. Every move she made was a literal clone of Marth. With 'clones', they always had differences to try and justify having similar moves, but Lucina didn't have that. She was TOO clone to be a clone.

(I'm not gloating. After E3 this year I was expecting more and more for the leak to be true. I'm just happy that the field of reasonable speculation has been broadened again. This, along with Rosalina, proves, to me, that there are still surprises left in store.)

I've only wanted Lucina. **** Robin, the only character who doesn't deserve to be in at all. Why do we have FOUR Fire Emblem reps and 2 DK, 3 Kirby, and 3 StarFox? I call uber bull**** right here

She appears in a small box on Smashbros as if suggesting veteran. But the site is not loading well.

I think she's going to be a Marth clon (like Toon Link, i mean, they will have the same moves but will be different in how they work and play)

Interesting how Chrom, perhaps the safest pick in speculation history for this game, is what kills Gematsu's leak.

Okay, I have a theory.

Chrom, Anna, or Robin will be revealed tomorrow. Arena Ferox as a character stage is a terrible fit for both Marth and Ike, and Shulk has had no foreshadowing whatsoever outside of some tweet.

The only other character that's been teased is Ridley, and we have the August Direct to take care of that.

Most people (including me) are saying that Lucina is a clone because all her moves that were shown, were also Marth's moves, that's why i say that she's a clone (a clone not an alt and by clone i mean something like what Roy was in melee)

Yeah, having her own page doesn't mean she isn't an alt. She uses Marth's animations aside from (what we've seen so far) a difference in a pose for a taunt.

And if she isn't an alt for whatever reason, then she is a clone whether you like it or not.
