Fatality vs Larry Lurr on second stream! Hype matches. These two just go back and forth bodying each other. Larry's a monster though.

Edit: WOW Larry is insane. Fox craps out damage.

Pikachu's hard. Short characters are tough for Wii Fit because they can simply duck under a lot of her attacks or they have attacks that make her miss. Pikachu easily blows off most of Wii Fit's ledge options and doesn't have to chase her offstage to put pressure on her. He can just sit at the edge and fire off thunder jolts and fsmash to his heart's delight. Doesn't have a lot options against getting knocked around by quick attack either. Probably Wii Fit's second hardest match up after Metaknight.
John Numbers claims that Kirby is Wii FIt's worst match up and the only one that warrants a secondary. Why do you consider the Meta Knight match up to be so poor for Wii Fit?

Pit maybe a good character, but he can't OPPRESS for s***. To really win at the highest level, you gotta prevent the opponent from playing at some point. Pit's too much neutral and not enough "setplay".

Not even upset that Earth lost to ZeRo...I'm happy he took a game off of his Shiek as Pit(any Pit main that takes a game off of ZeRo's Shiek/Diddy should be respected...and I don't count the For Glory Pit that beat his Ness in Tourney Mode)

America lookin' like the kind of the free after that set :troll:

Honestly tho, Japan is amazing.
It's in our national anthem. :p

Who did Ryuga lose to?
For future reference, Genesis 3 has a player search, so if things are updated, you can find your favorite player and how they placed: https://smash.gg/tournament/genesis-3/attendees.

I checked for you and False took him out 2-0 in losers while he was sent to losers by Larry Lurr: https://smash.gg/tournament/genesis-3/brackets/10619/4409/17863.

Nairo takes it. Next one is Mr. R vs Komorikiri. Komorikiri's going Cloud.

EDIT: What an Edgeguard!

So is Komorikiri going all Cloud? I mean he's like the best Sonic in the world, so him opting for Cloud is very telling. Perhaps he intends to prey on the early meta and general lack of counterplay to Cloud.

Also Trela losing to 6WX. How's that matchup though?

Edit: Oh wait, game 3 Trela wins. He got his hits in that time.

After watching Mr. R vs Komrikiri's cloud, it leads me to think Sheik has a positive matchup vs Cloud. thoughts?

I'd like to imagine Mr. R as Bane right now

He broke Komo's back

This is the first Tyrant set I've seen. He's almost taken Xzax off the side twice with up air chains into nair. Very flexible Meta Knight. His use of dair is very strong as well.

Dair to fsmash twice in one set! Damn dude calm down.

-Short characters are tough for Wii Fit in general.
-One of the few characters that can challenge Wii Fit off stage without too much risk.
-Him getting under her is pretty bad because she doesn't have many answers to his uair aside from trying to DI away.
-Harder punishments on whiffed grabs.

Had a mini heart attack each time Tyrant used f smash on the ledge.

What a terrifying option that is, and Meta Knight gets it basically for free. Man.

Let's go Hyuga! Don't lose to FOW. I'll be so pissed if FOW wins. Easily my least favorite player. Boastful, but plays a braindead character. And Ness v Toon Link is very easily swayed in Ness's favor, as is every Ness MU.

Edit: :(

I suppose it's like PPMD, but I'm incredibly surprised FOW does so well when he seems to attend so few major/national Smash 4 tournaments. I suppose playing people online/streaming really is enough for him, unless he frequents some stacked local I'm unaware of.

FOW earned that. Looks like he actually took the time to learn the Toon Link MU.

ABout 80% of FOW's moves he just threw out and got away with it.

Guess Mexico doesn't have any Ness'?

That was indeed winners TDK TDK , so Hyuga's not out yet. I may have been pulling for my boy FOW that time, but I still respect the heck out of Hyuga. Who would he be lined up to face next? I can't find a reliably updated bracket for the life of me. >.<

FOW's my last hope for Falco and he, apparently and inexplicably, uses Falco for Rosalina. All the Falco players drowned in pools which isn't surprising since in no international major has Falco placed above top 64 and in most cases they drown in the first pool. For majors, Falco has won one major, an Australian major?, and I think BIGBOSS/Attila_ switched from Falco a while back. FOW won - was typing this in during the match -; he's about to get 3-0'd by the next Rosalina player, Dabuz, if he chooses to use Falco, but it's still Falco, so I gotta root for him. ;_;

Nairo loses 2 with :4drmario: vs. ESAM, then runs it back 3 games with :4zss:. I realize his Doc play wasn't perfectly optimal, but it's still kind of a testimony to riding out (slightly) tough MUs and going with knowledge over gimmicks.

Marss 3-0's komorikiri's Sonic. Can't take out #1? Take out the other top Japanese player.

Hoping to see this Falco in action then.
