Changing the CSS graphics.

I'm looking for a way to change the graphics that appear on the CSS (particularly where it shows the names on the character boxes).

What file is this located in?

Or where it says Handicap.

If someone could make it say Buffer, I'd love you long time.

I also am requesting that someone make the "wii remove safety" bootstrap into something which describes how the Handicap=Buffer window works with something like this:

"Adjust your personal buffer window (or sensitivity) by adjusting your value from 0-100% next to your character name. 100% buffer corresponds to Brawl buffer window, 0% corresponds to Melee buffer window."

I just ripped the textures from the cellphone input boxes, and recombine/resize them.

BTW replacing the Handicap texture with SmashBox causes a freeze when entering the CSS. The details, format, resolution are the same as the texture being replaced but somehow it freezes.

It's because PW's File Patch doesn't allow bigger files to overwrite smaller one, so I bet if I burned the common5 into the ISO, even though SmashBox makes it bigger, it'll work.

It'd be cool if he can fix that, since there's no file limit outside the storage for BSTRMs.

And thanks, I'll see if I can put up a few other goodies to add in.

Anyone with a USB HDD or spare DVDs please insert Timothy's buffer texture into common5 and patch it onto the ISO.

And see if it doesn't freeze. D=

Shanus, note that 20% is much closer to Melee buffer as Brawl doesn't allow you to do aerials immediately after jumping (unlike Melee) if you don't have buffer. 0% makes rising aerials and more things harder to do.

OK then, SmashBox has a File Resizer. Testing the resized one now.
For the buffer, say 0-2 for Melee feel, 10 for brawl feel

I have a pretty large request from a knowledgable texture hacker.

The official 4.1 set included an official texture pack in its download from here:

I am looking to have someone who knows how to work their way through textures make CSPs for the official texture pack for tournaments. In addition, I wish for it to include the working "Buffer" icon to replace Handicap on the CSS screen. If someone is interested in doing this, please please PM me. This would be very very appreciated.

The resizer doesn't work...
And even if I replace the Handicap texture with the original one, the file size gets bigger.
So for now I'll just wait for other hackers to do it.

And changing the percentages so they look like "1 2 3" instead of "10% 20% 30%" would be a good idea, too.
