Thats not thhe point im making. I base my level of play off you guys and you all sucked. It makes me want to quit. I probably would have represented nc better then you all

After not playing brawl for a solid month and a half or so I've gone through the stages of denial, anger, all that **** of not playing brawl. Now I just don't care, and wanna play 360 games.
Hopefully it won't stay this way, ALEX GET BACK IN NC AND PLAY ME.

I went through those stages but with PS3 and PC games, like three times already. I think I'm at a stage where I just want to push buttons on my GC controller that has been neglected for like 6 months.
Are you at NCSU?

Not only that, but the only way I could have advanced was for me to actually BEAT Coney. Even if I had beaten Zori, I would most likely have not advanced, losing the 3 way tie breaker to the both of them because Coney lost to Zori.

Or maybe not since Red Ryu took me and Coney to game 3, but got 2-0'd by Zori. Lots of factors, but odds were still against me

Even though I'm not a Brawl player, I enjoyed watching Apex. Especially the Olimar matches, they were really entertaining. They made me want to learn how to play Olimar in this game and not be absolutely terrible.

You'd better watch out, NCSU players, because I am going to come there, and I am going to go all Olimar against you, and you are going to beat me so badly you won't know what hit you. Because nothing hit you. Watch out.

Alright, I'll learn to pivot grab. All I've done so far (I've litterally only played Brawl twice) is mix up side Bs with grabs and side smashes, and the occasional down/up smash if they're in range. Oh, and whistle while I'm in the air if I want my Pikmin near me (for an upB, or to throw at people), or just want to move them through the line.

Watch out NCSU people, I can Side B, pivot grab, and Usmash. Now I'm going to beat all of you, because I learned from the almighty Groose. I mean, have you seen that hair? I don't care what Ghirahim says, it's awesome.

I think I'm gonna start another tournament series. The new one will be MK-banned. TGM will stay MK legal. For TGM I might try to make the ruleset similar to standard Japanese rules (10 min timer, small stagelist). The new series I am undecided on whether it will be Unity ruleset or a modified version of it.

I am also undecided on how often they will take place. How often would you guys like to see them?

Out of curiosity, why is it people want MK Banned? Granted, the only tournament I've seen is Apex, but he didn't seem overpowered. He seemed more along the lines of Fox or Falco in Melee. Double MK did seem to dominate doubles, though.

Eh... the reason varies throughout the community. Some people thought that over-centralization was the main reason. Others thought it was because he has 0 losing match-ups. Still more thought that it was because he broke the counter-picking system. Others thought he was just too broken of a character to not be banned. Or it could be any combination of the above or even all of them.

There may be other reasons that I forgot/didn't mention, but chances are they stem from one of the things I listed anyway.

Oh, another big reason is probably that some people are tired of always losing to MK, but they don't wanna sound selfish (i.e. "I want him banned so I can win more.") so they say something else.

The only reason for me if any (I'm kind of neutral on it) is the over-centralization part, but I don't even think that's too much of an issue. I actually enjoyed the MU with the characters I played, it teaches me to be patient. So yeah I'ma be sad when I play against random characters that I have no MU exp on :(

Does that mean I can get PP banned because he's 4 stocked me every time I played him? Clearly he's broken.

I tried messing around with Olimar a bit, I think I'm ready to start losing to people with him. I feel really stupid when I try to wavedash, though.

Dont worry I try to WD when I play brawl too, and try to do brawl shenanigans in melee like tether with Shiek. When I'm watching videos or streams of brawl I'm always thinking "They should WD more."

x.x its bad to play both games.
