So did marvel 2 on the problem subject

-Roxy
:202:
but its impossible to patch MvC2.

Part of th benefits of living in our era of gaming is that patching can fix glitches, exploits, programming oversights. etc

and DLC can add new characters, costumes, music, and so much other new content to the game itself. I love that so much.

I love how Sanford complained about come-backs being too easy when one of the main characters in MvC2 had a move that traveled the whole screen in one-frame and could easily lead to an instant death (commonly killing an assist at the same time).

*cough* HYPERVIPERBEAM *cough*

Once players like Jwong and Ryry stop consistently wiping the floor with just about everyone, then I'll start believing MvC3 is too easy. You're fooling yourself if you think high-level MvC3 play doesn't require very fast thinking and tight execution.

I think the term "bodying" someone is hilarious and therefore can't take it seriously.

Also wasn't that game available to the pros way before everyone else? I would hope Jwong and friends still **** everyone if so <.<

Yeah, but many of the characters being used at that point (invitational tournament) weren't available at that time.

The characters that have recently been available has been available to a large group of people (the entire fighting game community actually)

Eh I would think having a feel for the game still goes a long way and the transition of core ideas about the game from character/team to others would still be easier.

I get your point though. I suppose I'll sit back and watch how more plays out.

So PP, you were interested in MvC3 at some point? I had no idea :o.

And I do agree with you, I'd think that better players would be much better at the game and have a grasp of what to learn first. Justin Wong definitely had that going for him, but when it comes to the game itself most of not all of them are on a clean slate.

Kind of makes me wonder how Yipes isn't doing well in MvC3, Sanford either.

Tap sounds like a ***** move compared to bodying someone.

Oh I tapped that ***** in tourney or I bodied that ***** in tourney....
Kinda like how I'm going to tap (literally) the **** out of Craig's *** and nuts in Ninja Storm 2

Ok Craig I'm actually lying, I played online and I got my *** handed to me haha. I'm starting to pick up on a few things though. The only problem is once I get MvC3 I probz won't play it anymore lol

tap is more like a disrespectful word... like teabagging is more disrespectful then said a punch in the stomach... But bodying someone refers to more of an overall dominance in said game

Thank god a few people in this thread is smart.

so I just realized
the definition of a good fighting game
would be one where
you have to hit several 1-frame links and press 7 buttons
to do a 3-hit combo
Ima make a game like that
and it'll be good
cause.....you have hard button stuff.........yeah

Keith Ford 1:53 pm
lol
what is this referring to?

David Conway 1:53 pm
the whole MvC3 being too easy
MvC2 and Melee being amazing
pretty much every fighting game elitist with a stick up their ***

Keith Ford 1:53 pm
who said that?

Keith Ford 1:53 pm
oh
any place u are reading niw?

David Conway 1:54 pm
nah
but one thing seems to be consistent though
having needlessly hard combos with tons of awkward inputs
is what makes a fighting game good

Keith Ford 1:54 pm
nah

David Conway 1:54 pm
cause you know.....
apparently anything else

Keith Ford 1:55 pm
thats just what idiots thinl

David Conway 1:55 pm
is just for n00bs

Keith Ford 1:55 pm
lol

David Conway 1:55 pm
I always laugh my *** off when I watch PP play melee
cause his hands are going ****ing lightning speed
he just pressed ****in' a million buttons

David Conway 1:55 pm
probably unhooked a girls bra
opened his locker
defused a bomb

Keith Ford 1:56 pm
lol

David Conway 1:56 pm
and punched his opponent in the face irl
with how ****ing fast his hands are moving
but then you watch the screen
all that happened was
dair
shine
dair
and I'm just like "**** this game"

David Conway 1:58 pm
almost as funny as watching a crowd of SSF4 players
freak out over a 6 hit combo
cause that **** is nearly impossible

-DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD-

shady p going in.

I've seen you earn enough to quit entering singles by being terrible at locals

at least I win majors

Melee is the only community to do flips over how technical they can be lol

Every other fighter has various technical aspects
wow it's like Melee is deep or something

looool I mean it has depth. Don't change the topic on what I said though you know it's true baby.

And shady is right that certain things are very over hyped in melee like falcon doing up air to knee chains and the crowd behind them are jumping up and down in hysteria.
Technical depth is just another aspect of depth that most other games can't touch like Melee can

and you played melee for years

shame on you for treating hype like that

looooooool

but aight I'll leave you guys alone you all hate me enough for one day <3
