Can't Let you cut me Sakurai, Wolf for DLC

Saw someone today claiming Wolf was just a Fox clone.

Next time someone says that, tell them that there are more shared moves between Captain Falcon and Samus in Smash 64 then there are between Fox and Wolf in Brawl. It's true, but o one ever harps on them for being similar.

It's like people only look at special moves when thinking about a character's moveset.

Actually... Even before I know Smash Boards... I see something weirdly similar in the C. Falcon's and Samus's Moveset

The fact that it's a type it in one. That way all characters are covered. Plus with only one choice there's no crazy stuff. Like how in the Skullgirls polls two darkhorses won as they were a lot of people's second and third choices.

No, at this point we can´t predict anything anymore. We lost our "every 2 months a DLC char" routine and whoever wins the ballot (multiple) still has to go trough Sakurais guide lines to be a Smash Character. So it could be anyone.
Also we don´t know if we get the first (or more) DLC char on 3rd October or just a trailer, which the name of the winners (I assume atleast 4, since we have a "DLC bundle 1" with 4 chars, so atleast a second should be filled)

I´m just gona´ wait this out. :/

I can't read Sakurai at all anymore. Pretty much if I want it, it's not in; and if I think it's a weird idea and don't like it, that's what happens.

I'd love if Sakurai does give us veterans back. He's said that he hates cutting characters, and it's pretty quick and easy to port from Brawl, so I'd love if he just gave us Wolf, Squirtle, Ivysaur, and maybe Snake (pending Konami issues) or the ICs (as a WiiU exclusive). I know the two Pokémon have negligible support, but Squirtle was one of my mains in Brawl, and I'd love him to come back. Besides, most of our DLC so far has been veterans. I' also love getting 4 characters by October, and then we can get another "Fighter pack." If they did another 4 for the ballot, that's 12 altogether, which would bring the entire roster to 60 plus the Miis - which is just a nice number.

I'd honestly be fine with only Wolf and Snake being the last veterans. If I had to choose one more though, I'd have to go with Pichu. I don't want him back though, I'm just saying that if I had to choose. As for other veterans, I feel like Greninja was kinda the spiritual processor to Squirtle. Hopefully we'll get Sceptile as a spiritual processor to Ivysaur, too. As for Young Link, we already have Toon Link. Even if he was changed and used the masks, I'd still prefer him stay out. The Ice Climbers I'd love to see back, but I know it's impossible.

Some newcomers like Krool make sense to have now, but others could be saved for smash 5. Wolf and Krool are pretty much the 2 must haves for DLC.

A large following in Japan? =o then he may have a chance. After all, I feel it's largely due to the Japanese that we have Roy and Lucas back. Wolf first of course but if we can't get Wolf back then I want the adorable little rodent in all of his terribleness ;-;

There are still many, many character Nintendo has had throughout the years they can choose from. I'm not against the idea of Veterans returning since I want both Snake and Wolf to come back. But I'd still be pretty disappointed if most of the DLC for Smash 4 are cut veterans. Mewtwo, Roy and Lucas make up 3/4 of the DLC characters for Smash and I don't want that to be a trend for future DLC.
