So today I was gonna get a nuke for the hell of it, and at the 24th kill, my team mates, yes, two of them, get killed by ONE guy and the guy kills me as well. All I could do about it was laugh...Eventhough it felt as if a part of me died there, forever!

Perhaps this is the wrong place to say it, but the game does not deserve that. with a crappy campaign and a bad special opps, the fairly good online is not enough to have this game beat all other games in sale and (unfortunately) steal "game of the year" from the games that deserve it (Brutal Legend, Assassin's creed II, L4D2). and yes, it will get game of the year, I'm nearly certain. but at least it's limelight will be taken once Bioshock 2 comes out, although it won't get as much sales as MW2.

Crappy campaign? Bad Special Ops? If you didn't enjoy playing through this, then you must have extremely high standards and I suggest you avoid gaming at all costs. In my opinion, the campaign was just fine. You explored so many different parts of the world. You climbed cliffs, chased down arms dealers in Brazil, defended the US in Washington D.C, and breached an enemy camp high up a mountain. It had some moderately challenging missions that really made you play cautiously. Special Ops was a very good concept and it only added to the fun. It obviously impressed a lot of people, otherwise nobody would purchase it. The graphics were stunning and the controls were solid. I see very little flaws with the multiplayer and it would help if you tell us what was wrong with the single player, rather than claim it just sucks.

Brutal Legend would need better sales, AC2 was decent, and L4D2 could easily take runner-up. I couldn't decide between the two, but I'd say MW2 would have the slight edge. The multiplayer is really, really good this time around. If everyone has a good connection, you'll really love it. Adding a 3rd person mode was a really good idea for those out there that enjoy it, they balanced the perks fairly well. We're still early in the games life, but we're pretty sure what the best guns are. Pretty much any AR excluding the FAL and F2000. M16, SCAR, ACR, and FAMAS, are all pretty close.

As thrilling as the campaign may be, it may get a few points reduction for the controversial (yet morally tolerable due to the fact that you can skip it or remain pacifistic) No Russian, but more likely, I think the main problem with the story is the total number of plot holes loaded into it (see No Russian, again)

Agreed on the games. Also, we can already filter the guns to a handful (4 ARs, 3 Snipers, 2 LMG, 2 Pistols, 3 MPs, 4 shotguns [or so], and 3 Rocket launchers, the only class without any filtering is the SMG)

I'm talking about gameplay in general. It played so well and while paying attention to the plot the first time, I enjoyed it more when I completely ignored what anyone was saying after a second play-through. The story won't earn it any points for game of the year, but the gameplay really wins people over.

So I'm in a game of 3rd person cage with some guy (gunner 7, or some @#$%). Game starts off with him and his akimbo 1337s (calling them that on purpose, I don't have a problem with them. Moving on). Kill him with my knife (XD) He makes a comment, 'Okay, you're good'. Making idle conversation, I said, 'Nah, just got lucky. Go back and forth for three more kills, and then the bull **** happened...

I noticed he had the M203(?), and he started infinite rapid fire noobtubing... yes. You read correctly. Infinite. Rapid. Noob tube. >_> Reported him, obviously, but I didn't wanna rage quit. So I stuck around. And then guess what happened? His AC130 goes up, and THAT rapid fires the big gun.

I was so pissed I wanted to stab a baby... >_>

Could a moderator (or TRG himself) maybe add in everyones Timezones? I know that most of you know eachothers, but I don't know any of yours, that way, when people say "i'll be on till 10" then you can just look up their timezone if you don't know it and you'll know their timezone.

Maybe even do something like this:

I prestiged for the second time yesterday. First map I got was estate. I used the default SMG class and it's set up near perfectly for a knifing class, which is what I did. I went like, 27-7 just using the Magnum and Tactical knife.

Cheaters/hackers do get banned. It just takes a while because there are no longer server admins to look over the games and ban players.

IW is basically saying "**** you!" to their loyal PC fanbase/commnuity after years of support.
