Shaymin was the real powerhouse on this team. I chose it because I knew that it could come in safely on all 3 RNG'd pokemon and hit stuff hard. Scarfcross was chosed to revenge kill stuff and to generally hit hard. Heatran was there to get rocks and kill some stuff. Phione's set lets it annoy stuff with U-turn and double status. Electivire was supposed to use fling to kill the Rotom that I predicted would be used (Rotom also beats all 3 RNG'd pokemon). Choice band is on Azumarill because it's Azumarill.

I didn't actually get to formally participate in this round, but I was able to test my team in a match against Wrath. He didn't really have an answer to Shaymin or Heracross, so I won pretty easily. Phione annoyed stuff and scouted with U-turn, Electivire might have killed something (I don't remember), and Azumarill died early.

I decided to start with Shaymin again, because he was once again able to outspeed and 1HKO all of the RNG'd pokemon. I wanted a reliable switch-in to fighting attacks from Toxicroak so I choose Dragonite (I didn't realize that Salamence was legal). Heatran was chosen as a lead again just because. Quagsire is using the standard set, and he has yawn because sleep is good. Life orb Suicune is able to beat enemy Suicune and Quagsire with HP Grass. Toxicroak is banded to do as much damage as possible.

I don't remember much about this set of matches, except that 1W@ had an annoying scarf Roserade lead and that Shaymin worked very well.

I decided to build this team around stockpile Hippowdon because it's a monster and very few things can beat it. Forretress was there to set up the hazards I needed. Jirachi was there to tank hits and pass wish, but mostly because I didn't know what else to put there. Kricketune was my lead because I didn't have anything else to use it for or anything else to use as a lead. I was hoping it could at least put stuff to sleep. Meganium was able to heal any status Hippowdon might get, as well as set up a light screen and hurt things with leaf storm. Slowking was supposed to be my special wall.

Pink Reaper had a team with mixed dancing Salamence, Agiligross, and DDTar. The first match Metagross exploded on Hippowdon and PR was able to sweep me with Tyranitar and Salamence. The next two matches I was able to set up hazards with Forretress and then stall out his entire team with Hippowdon. Toxic spikes kept Slowking and Meganium from setting up. One notable occurrence was in the third match, where Jirachi was able to survive a +1 Salamence earthquake to finish it with flash cannon.

I wanted to use stockpile Hippowdon again, but originally I was afraid that his job as a bulky ground type would overlap too much with Donphan, so I built team 4b before I made this one. When I finished making that team about 40 minutes before our match, I realised that Donphan and Hippowdon wouldn't really overlap much at all so I built this team. Hippowdon is there for obvious reasons. Roserade is there to set up my hazards. Blissey is my special wall and cleric. I made Donphan my lead, using the spread that Gates made in the rate my moveset thread. Slowbro was able to check things like Infernape, Machamp, and Gyarados. Wigglytuff was entirely devoted to team support with stealth rocks, both screens, and wish.

In the first match I think Moozle was using life orb Azelf as a lead along with Celebi and Magnezone. Roserade set up all the hazards and Moozle forfeited. As for the third match, you can see for yourself in the log I posted below.

I decided to go back to Shaymin once again for this team, because it was once again able to beat the three RNG'd pokemon. I used leech seed over hidden power because this match was on shoddy instead of pokemon online and I didn't know the IVs that I needed. Curselax is a very beastly pokemon with the ability to beat a lot of special threats and to sweep lategame. Specs Magnezone was used to stop Scizor and throw out powerful thunderbolts. The other three pokemon are the same except Slowbro has ice beam over hidden power to hit Dragonite and Thunder Wave over toxic to help with my slowness.

Shaymin pulled the weight of three piokemon in this match, and was able to easily take apart most of Moozle's team. The on;y pokemon that gave him trouble was Moozle's Celebi (which makes me wish that I had hp fire). Magnezone was sacrificed to try and kill it, and it ended up beating Snorlax with a combination of parahax, leech seed, and grass knot crits. We ended up with a stall war between my Shaymin and Slowbro and his Celebi. He ended up forfeiting the match, giving me the victory.
