I know dude...I know.

Ganon could have had one of the craziest play styles if he could just use the Utilt suction for a few frames then cancel into a jab or something. I still dream of canceling Utilt. Someone...PLEASE find a way to cancel Utilt. It would be...AMAZING.
:):):):):)

The moving floors of the electric part of Pokemon Stadium 2. When they push you off the stage they immediately cancel the Utilt. Our new counterpick?

TP, I've done that before, but since Ganon's jumps are kind of bad and don't get you back on stage fast enough to really punish, it's kind of pointless I find.

OH GOD YOSHI'S ISLAND DS IS SO MUCH FUN
Is it better than the original?

If I thought it was a big deal, I wouldn't have posted it in the general chat thread.

The original Yoshi's Island was awesome. I don't know about the DS version, but it would have a hard time beating the original.

Haha good point!

Yeah, I still have the original on SNES, thus why I haven't gotten the DS one.

Yoshi's Island DS is a lot of fun. It basically looks the same as the SNES, only a bit updated to make it a bit more fluid. There are a lot of new gameplay/platform elements and most of the old ones are there too. Minigames have their own little menu now, which is pretty nice.

The main feature is the other babies - next to Mario, you can also have Baby Peach, Baby DK, Baby Wario (!) and Baby Bowser. Every baby gives a special power: Mario gives the Sprint function (and thus a further jump), Baby Wario has a magnet to pull in coins, Baby Peach has a bigger flutter jump and the wind will carry you if you have her. Baby DK is just plain overpowered though: he has a Dash Attack that rams aside virtually everything, can swing on ropes, climb up on vines and chains and the ground stomp is stronger. Baby Bowser is also up there, being able to breathe fire instead of throwing eggs.

It's just sort of sad that Baby DK/Bowser are that much more useful than the others. XD But the others are also plenty seen, so don't worry.

So far, the game seems easier... I'm only at World 4 right now, but the huge 'SCORE' and 'MUSEUM' parts make it seem like there are only 5 Worlds... Rather than the previous 8. I wouldn't like it if that would be the case.

If it has 8 Worlds and becomes a bit harder (and more special levels, where's my ice-skating level?!) it might be better than the original.

'Sup? Jiggs is cool, I've been playing her a lot recently, along with ZSS. They are surprisingly fun to play.

Oh, guys, try to keep this thread on the down low. These chat threads have been officially banned and are actually against the rules now.

I was flipping through Nintendo's official guide to Brawl today at the store (I didn't buy it, $20 is rediculous) and I saw that it had stats for each character. It gave Ganon a 3/10 on defense, the lowest of any character (Jiggly got the only 10). I guess we all have to change our play style now.

This thing was soooo accurate. That's why they gave Olimar a 7/10 for throws, Sonic a 7/10 for final smash, ROB a 7/10 for projectile while Diddy's projectile got an 8/10, and Metaknight got a 6/10 for offense. I'm glad Nintendo puts so much effort in getting accurate information to the players and selling it for a modest 20 dollars.

I shall be Nintendo's defense. (9001/10)

By defense, I can assume in my favor that they meant how easily you can eat through Ganondorf's shield, since he has a lot of MANLY MUSK and height.

Actually, it was a victimless crime, since no one would EVER buy that piece of ****.

Another fun fact: The "advanced strategies" section for Metaknight started with "Use dimensional cape often."

This made my brain want to leap out of my skull in a bloody mess of agony.

I can co-ordinate games with friend finder only for the next three days, so I want to play Brawl!

I want to play you guys, the Ganon boards, and also the Ness people and the Samus people. You're part of an exclusive group. Take advantage.

I'm in Ontario. I understand Ray_Kalm is too?

I play in the afternoon... like 2:00-5:00.
