SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!
I know I still have to do the entire head, but what do yous think I could do to the body?

Why does he seem so tall?
Because Toon Link is taller than him..... by a fair bit....

If I set 80% as Y scale on the TopN bone, then scale the head up to 120%, he looks a bit closer to the right hight........
(By the way, shoes are better now)


EDIT: Haha! Just notice how dang long TL's arms are.... that can all be changed by editing the bones I suppose...



EDIT2: No stray verts... Off too a good start... (This is still a Maya render...)
The finger tips look so out of place.... but I couldn't be bothered texturing them yet :p

Hm, slight problem. Apparently my computer is now too stupid to upload anything to any site. Which sucks, I was considering releasing the stage for testing purposes. I can't even upload a picture.

I suggest not using animations for resizing. Not only is it very tedious, but it's also a lot easier to use PSA, considering you only have to change one value and it stays applied even when the character uses an external animation.

I made a poll on my thread in the vertex section of KCMM and at ESH about which character I should work on next. The options are Ansem, Axel, Frog, Saix, Sephiroth, Zegram, and Zexion. Check out one of those polls so I can know which character people want me to work on most. I'm Aafyre on both sites by the way.
If you end up doing Axel (starting to look like it at this point) which character do you intend to make it on? Hopefully somebody with weapons that can be used with both hands (Pit?)

I've got bad news, and good news.

On with the bad news. I was working on Tron Bonne and my PC randomly froze, so I lost a lot of progress on her. This includes the other leg I hadn't finish, the hair, and the arms.

For the good news, I managed to kind of make the hair once again, and I think it looks better than last time.



Oh, and unless I stretch her face or something..I can't really make the front of the hair any better, since there will be holes. But, don't worry, I'm not done with the hair itself.. If you notice anything, it's probably something will fix and that I know about already.

More. Progress. This is based on her MvC3 colors and model, by the way. I wanted to base myself on the artwork, but I changed my idea.

That affects all character slots, though. He's going for a one-slot vertex hack. =\

I tried to flatten her lips, but it looked bad. As for the eyes, you cannot see them in 3ds Max, so I just put them on the Eyelid texture. That's why it does that.

You still have the original eye lids, right? It would just look weird if that texture's eye irises don't move around, and you're also giving up the Final Smash eyes during the process.

They're just temporary while he edits the model, since he can only see one eye texture at a time, silly :p It's like in Brawlbox how the eye whites texture dominates all.

Nice use of Ridley's wings for the ship (Did it even have wings? I don't recall that). Also, I'm sure the ship didn't exactly look like that. You could try to vertex hack it with the old method. I could let you use my computer like last time, but I've been using it a lot recently.

This is just for testing purposes, I'll make the official release along with a few RELs and BRSTMs soon. I didn't want the spawn points to be where they are (I was going to have a temporary platform present) but the lack of enough Model Datas made that beyond my reach/understanding.

I also changed the boundaries, item spawns, Lucario/Ike FS position (needs to be lowered a bit), respawn location and item spawns.

Is the lava just a background model or is it a hazard such as norfair lava that actually hits you?
It's just for aesthetics. But as for actual hazards, the ship moves around quite a bit, and there's plenty shrapnel flying around.

Wait, what ship didn't look like that? It wasn't intended to be anything in particular, I'm just using Rainbow Cruise's ship because I already used the model and the stage needed a large flat portion.

Hey, beside TommoPuppy, just wondering, does anyone actually care for Tron Bonne? I'm making her because I love the character, and it's a tribute to the fact that she got added in MvC3.

I'm liking it so far. But I've used all of my Peach slots for other skins, though (pink = my Woolen WIP, red = Yuka Kazami, green = A combination of both your Peach in Mario's overalls/Daisy in Luigi's overalls hacks [Peach in Luigi's overalls], blue = Rosalina, white = my Dejiko WIP, yellow = Daisy).

Buuuut I've had that Yuka skin for quite a while now (the first one I've had for Peach that I haven't replaced yet), so I'll probably be replacing it sometime soon.

So I'm to understand that you're trying to replace Yoshi's model with Diddy's model? Can't you just use one of Diddy's color slots for that texture/vertex combo?
