As an uploader of a fairly large Melee youtube channel (1228 uploads and 1133 subscribers!) i've noticed that generally, no one in my area posted brawl videos. Despite having players such as TheReflexWonder, elev8, kismet2, BigLou, etc. who regularly attend tournaments.
I decided to take it upon myself to begin recording and uploading tournament videos. In order to prevent driving away my subscribers, i decided to use kismet2's channel, which is

to upload tournament videos from the GA/AL and possible FL scene.

One thing about the Melee community is that because we lack replays, there are generally large regional uploaders for tournament videos. I've asked around the brawlers in my area, and there don't seem to be many of these kinds of easy to access continuous video sources in brawl. Despite the ease of transferring matches to recorders via replays, many of the brawl youtube channels (at least in my area) are small and scattered throughout. This is a real shame because it seems that most of the videos found are either found via youtube search or the classic viral "shared link" method. Matches are a great way for players to learn about their region and players and the like.

Please do correct me if I am wrong, but the Brawl video scene seems a lot less organized than the Melee scene!
This thread is not about melee vs brawl in any way. I only would like to assist the community in expanding the amount, organization, and prevalence of their tournament videos.

I know there are a few channels who are considered large in their region, but I don't see out of region players subscribing to them (once again, from GA/AL smashers). So, I would like to begin compiling a list of noteworthy brawl youtube channels that receive tournament matches on a regular basis. I'm not an experienced brawl player and i don't watch brawl matches too often, so please post links + regions!

Well, I haven't uploaded tournament matches yet. but I've uploaded matches played ON a tournament (MM etc. etc.) and I WILL upload Brawl Tournament matches anytime. Plus there are a lot of other great Brawl related videos sooo..

Is there anyway this thread could be moved to general/tactical discussion, so that it might get some attention? Albeit it's subject matter happens to be videos, it doesn't directly link a video (what this forum chiefly pertains to) and its' validity in another forum is reasonable with a wide interpretation of what the general forums or the tactical forums pertain to.

I'm working on making Florida more transparent to other regions in terms of how our players perform. Until I started recording; our state's play was pretty much a mystery unless you happen to be here lol. I'm uploading upwards to around fifty-sixty videos per event now. I have two events I will be recording from yesterday. I also might do Melee/streaming in the future as well.

this isn't for advertising for combo videos or whatnot. it's to organize all the tournament uploading channels into one thread.

I'll be streaming any Florida events I go to since I recently gained the capability to do so.

I've been doing commentary for matches, got 1 with Ally from Whobo3 on my channel and plan on getting some more big name matches as well. I haven't asked for any matches from Smashboards yet so it's been mainly wifi matches so far but I plan on changing that, so add me to the list as well please.
